What is it with Emma Watson and men in round-framed glᴀsses?
Having sH๏τ to fame as Harry Potter’s friend Hermione Granger, the actress was last week spotted in Venice with a mystery man wearing specs that wouldn’t look out of place on the boy wizard.
The pair rode in one of the city’s water taxis and dined at a restaurant on the tiny island of La Certosa, where they were joined by two others.
Ms Watson, 33, had been dating Brandon Green, the son of retail tycoon Sir Philip, but last month it was reported that the pair had split up after 18 months together.
It was in Venice last year where their relationship became public when they were spotted affectionately holding hands.
For her latest visit, the actress wore a silk summer dress and oversized white shirt, while her companion dressed down in a black T-shirt and black linen shorts.
After a dinner full of animated conversation, Ms Watson stood up to leave, but couldn’t resist taking a final mouthful as she did so.
The actress is believed to have been pictured with her friend in 2019, and also in Venice – but that time it was Venice, California.
Ms Watson hasn’t acted in five years, but recently said she is happy to wait until the ‘right thing’ comes along.
