She first appeared on the big screen at the tender age of 11 when she was cast to play the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
And twelve years on from her acting debut Emma Watson is proving that she knows a thing or two about retaining her youthful looks (unlike many other child stars).
Seen arriving at JFK airport in Queens, New York City on Wednesday, the 22-year-old showed off her flawless complexion as she journeyed through the terminal.

Wearing only a light coating of mascara, Emma looked fresh faced as she headed towards the exit.
Dressed in clothes taken from the comfort section of her wardrobe, Watson ditched her heels for a pair of white laced pumps.
Wrapping a large pale grey scarf around her neck, the actress donned a knitted jumper with black slim fitted jeans.
Accessorising with a khaki bag, Emma completed her look with blacked out shades as she wore her short brunette hair back in a bun.
Opting for a minimalistic ensemble, Emma wore a pair of drop earrings and a ring on her left hand.

Following her arrival in Queens, Emma took to her Twitter account to share some of her thoughts.
She tweeted: ‘Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport.’
Continuing her thought process she added: ‘General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that.
‘It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there -Love Actually, R.Curtis’
And ending her tweeting streak, she wrote: ‘Happy Valentines Day All you lovely people. Xxxx’.

On the topic of love, Emma recently defended Twilight star Kristen Stewart over her earth-shaking affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
Speaking to Vogue Italia, The Perks of Being a Wallflower actress said that she felt it was wrong for people condemn Kristen for her ‘mistakes’.
She said: ‘Kristen is human, just like everybody else, and she’s so young. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone. It’s not fair to consider them matters of public interest.
‘Those who criticised her are the same people that think that being rich and famous is like being covered in some kind of magic powder that makes life perfect. Nothing can go wrong in your wonderful world.’
