Dua Lipa and her party-loving parents once bumped into each other at risqué nightclub, The Box, in New York, during a night out at the X-rated venue.
The singer, 28, who was interviewed in Elle’s May issue, admitted she ‘wasn’t fazed’ when she ran into them partying at the same club in the city’s Lower East Side.
Revealing their partying runs in their veins, she said: ‘We celebrate everything and anything, and we just love a party,’ she explains.
She continued: ‘When I go to my aunt’s house, it all starts off pretty tame….Then the music comes on, and we’re all dancing in the house. And that’s a Tuesday!’
Dua, who is dating actor Callum Turner, also spoke about how her latest single Training Season, was inspired by dates and past relationships.
Her previous relationships include Anwar Hadid, and French director Romain Gavras; and most recently British actor Callum.
Speaking on her dating life, Dua explained that her mantra is: ‘As long as everyone knows where they stand, then you’re good.’
She revealed how she ‘manifested’ what she wanted from romance in her new album, revealing she thought: ‘Okay, I’m going to write down what I want.’
Dua said: ‘The power of manifestation and writing things into existence with the power of words. When you know your worth, you know what you want and what you don’t want…
‘I was talking about this with one of my dancers today, because she was going through a breakup—when I was single, I didn’t wish it away.
‘You learn so much about yourself, you know, whether it’s going on a date or spending that time alone. In the silence, you figure out who you really are. In the grand scheme of things, I was doing research.’
Alongside the interview, Dua posed for a series of fashion-forward snaps, including a racy mesh vest, which she wore with a bralet and shorts.
The New Rules hitmaker added a pair of knee-high boots the ensemble, while wearing her deep red locks loose with glam make-up.
