And Hailee Steinfeld was certainly in the mood to let loose as she partied the night away at the Republic Records VMAs afterparty at the Moxy Chelsea in New York on Monday night.

The multi-talented star, 22, continued her sizzling display in a figure-hugging red lace gown which showed off her fabulous figure thanks to its semi-sheer detailing.

For her evening out on the town, Hailee selected a Sєxy scarlet flowing dress that was reminiscent of a negligee with its corset style detailing.

The Bumblebee actress’s tonal look featured two sheer panels for the skirt, which fluttered in the breeze.

The top-piece of Hailee’s dress featured a bodice that buckled in the back, revealing part of her bare back.

Much of the garment was sheer, with layering and fabric appliques placed artfully on the front.

Her scarlet stiletto sandals had a corresponding flourish of fabric at the back which matched the train of her gown.

The gorgeous brunette let her long mane hang down, and she selected a matching shade of scarlet for her lips, which were plumped to perfection by celebrity makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez – the same person responsible for Gigi Hadid’s beauty look for the evening – who used a combination of three YSL Beauty products to achieve the perfect red: Dessin Des Levres Lip Liner, and two shades of the Rouge Pur Couture The Slim.

For Hailee, Carolina was inspired by ‘a classic bombshell look’ that focused on the bold red lip and a glowing complexion, which was enhanced with skincare from YSL Beauty, including the brand’s OR Rouge Creme Riche, and the OR Rouge Serum. The Touche Eclat Blur Primer was then applied to the T-zone and cheeks to prep the skin for foundation.
