Katy Perry put her stellar curves on display as she promoted her new single Woman’s World on Thursday.
In the pH๏τos, which she posted to Instagram, the 39-year-old Roar singer wore a figure-hugging black leather halter-top jumpsuit with a zipper at the bodice and green and white racing stripes running down the sides.
The American Idol judge left her zipper pulled down low revealing her prominent cleavage.
In one pH๏τo Katy — who just won the legal battle over her home in Montecito — held her amber-colored sunglᴀsses and in the other pH๏τo she wore them.
‘START UR ENGINES, WOMAN’S WORLD IS COMING. PRESS THAT PRE-SAVE FOR JULY 11,’ she captioned the post.
Katy also shared a short clip of herself backstage with Saweetie in which she barged into her dressing room to surprise her.
Later, the rapper commented on Katy’s post: ‘THE BEST !!!!!!! WE ARE SEATED !!!!!!!! I got the keyz !!! Engines are ret to GOOOO !!’
Other commenters immediately jumped on her for her collaboration with Dr. Luke, with one writing: ‘If Dr. Luke is driving the car it’s just going to backfire’
Another quipped: ‘stop working with dr puke.’
Katy’s collaboration with music professional Dr. Luke on her forthcoming album has garnered a considerable amount of controversy amid past Sєxual ᴀssault allegations made against the producer by Kesha.
The 39-year-old songstress is collaborating with Dr. Luke, whose full name is Lukasz Gottwald, as well as Max Martin, Sarah Hudson and Stargate on her sixth record, Rolling Stone reported on Wednesday.
Perry ‘knew exactly the album she wanted to make and put together the team to make it happen,’ a Capitol Records source told the outlet of the collection of talent the former American Idol judge put together for her first release since 2020’s Smile.
Perry and Dr. Luke, 50, have past collaborated on hit singles such as 2008’s I Kissed a Girl, 2010’s California Gurls and 2013’s Roar.
The feedback online was pointed toward both Perry and Dr. Luke, who last year settled a defamation lawsuit with Kesha, 37, after she claimed in a 2014 lawsuit that he had Sєxually and physically abused her.
Kesha, whose full name is Kesha Rose Sebert, tweeted ‘lol’ in the wake of news Perry and Dr. Luke would be collaborating.
A number of followers speculated on the meaning of Kesha’s ‘lol’ tweet Monday, with one speculating that ‘she’s laughing at Katy and her new song,’ while another asked, ‘Is this Katy shade?’
Other people were more pointed toward Perry’s professional decision to collaborate with Dr. Luke.
‘It’ll never be a “Woman’s World” bc people like Katy Perry continue to support and uplift abusers in the industry like Dr. Luke,’ one user said.
Another added, ‘I’m actually in shock how so many Katy Perry fans are defending her with this Dr. Luke thing… it’s ok to hold your favorite artist accountable btw.’
