Ella Rae Wise could be set for an awkward run-in with her ex Dan Edgar as filming for TOWIE’s 15th anniversary kicks off in Portugal. 

The reality star, 24, had been dating her co-star in the lead-up to going on Celebrity Big Brother back in April, before revealing on the show they had split.

And now the pair have come face to face after their split as they both jetted out to the Algarve – where they were spotted filming scenes at a pool party for TOWIE’s upcoming 15th anniversary special. 

TOWIE – which is one of ITVX’s most streamed тιтles with 66million streams in the last 12 months – is back with the brand new series airing on ITV2 and ITVX later this year. 

Ella looked sensational for filming as she stepped out in a cerulean blue ruched ʙικιɴι top with a matching full length sarong as she was joined by her glam co-stars Elma Pazar and another of Dan’s exes, Amber Turner.

Love Island star Elma showed off her toned torso as she posed in a tiny lacy turquoise strappy ʙικιɴι, with matching briefs and a sarong.

Meanwhile Amber, who split from Dancing On Ice star Dan in 2023, put on a striking display in an all-white ensemble. 

Amber’s abs were on display in a white cupped ʙικιɴι top with a gold brooch, as well as brief featuring an additional cut-out style waistband. She paired the ʙικιɴι with a low-waisted white beach maxi skirt. 

Another star spotted at filming was Ella’s best friend Dani Imbert, who looked incredible in a black and white crochet ʙικιɴι with matching H๏τ pants.

Meanwhile Chloe Meadows was glowing in a red ʙικιɴι top and crochet high-waisted shorts, and Courtney Green opted for a green floral ʙικιɴι with a tiny beaded sarong.

Ella recently hinted that scenes in Portugal could be ‘explosive’ as she confirmed to MailOnline she would be joining the cast for the upcoming TOWIE 15th anniversary special.

‘I’m so excited! I feel like it’s going to be explosive. The last couple of series have been pretty tame, so it’s time for a big one. And everything’s just better in the sun,’ she teased.

Last month, Ella opened up about her split from her TOWIE ex-boyfriend Dan in a rare interview. 

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline about the breakup, she shared: ‘I’d known about going on the show for a while and honestly thought I was going in with a happy relationship. 

‘But things happened behind closed doors that I couldn’t get over. For once, I put myself first.’

Despite their relationship coming to an end, Ella insists things ended amicably: ‘Nothing bad happened, there was no cheating or anything, and we still speak. 

‘In fact, we messaged the other day. I hope we stay friends.’ 

Viewers saw Ella break down in tears inside the famous Celebrity Big Brother house as she opened up about the breakup just days into filming. 

Reflecting on how vulnerable she felt, Ella added: ‘It took a lot of courage for me to be open up and vulnerable about my relationship on the show. 

‘I was very emotional but honest about how I felt at the time.

‘I also didn’t know what was happening outside the show and what he was saying, so it took a lot for me to be so open on TV, where everyone will have an opinion.’

The reality icon, who left the show in a triple eviction alongside Patsy Palmer and Angellica Bell, also revealed she was surprised by the lack of support from her fellow TOWIE castmates after her exit.

She said: ‘I only got messages from Freddie (Bentley), Saffron (Lempriere), and Dani (Imbert), like those are my three best friends. But no one else, which surprised me, I’m not going to lie. 

‘It was a bit sad because I would’ve messaged them if they were on a show, but I didn’t hear anything.

‘But then again, I don’t know what they were going through at the time, so I don’t hold it against them. I just know I would’ve messaged.’
