Celebrity Gogglebox fans have shared a big complaint as the Channel 4 show returned with a new lineup.
Friday night saw the star-studded spin-off from the beloved reality programme hit screens again for another series.
Celebrities including Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liz, as well as Rylan Clark and his mum, Linda, returned to their sofas to give their verdicts on popular TV shows.
There were a few newcomers too, with Paddy McGuinness and Vernon Kay taking a seat, and Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison and The Only Way Is EsSєx star Pete Wicks.
However, the show was not well received by some viewers and many expressed how they preferred the non-celebrity version.

Many took to X to share their verdicts and posted: ‘Celebrity Gogglebox just isn’t funny like the original, it feels forced! #gogglebox #Celebritygogglebox.’
Another said: ‘We watch normal #Gogglebox because its hilarious and we love all the families. #celebritygogglebox is not funny and we couldnt care less about the celebs. Its just people watching telly.’

Someone else penned: ‘Not the dreaded celebrities again, so many of them are so annoying #Celebritygogglebox.’
However, some viewers were happy to see the celebrity version return to screens.
One posted: ‘Watching the always delightful Celebrity @C4Gogglebox. It’s still so fascinating how watching a show about people simply watching TV can be so strangely addictive.
‘Watching as a host of celebs give their views on whats on the small screen….. #CelebrityGogglebox.’
Someone else added: ‘Oh my days absolutely loving the new series of #Celebritygogglebox and love the fact that @VickyPattison is on it.’
Across seven series, it has seen a host of big names react to all the highs and lows of British television, including Noel Gallagher, Mel B and Danny and Dani Dyer.

Also joining the Celebrity Gogglebox cast this series are Inbetweeners legend James Buckley and his wife Clair, who co-host YouTube series and podcast At Home With The Buckleys.
Other newbies also include pop singer Jess Glynne and her partner, retired women’s football legend and sports broadcaster Alex Scott.
They join a beloved returning cast, including The Happy Monday bandmates Shaun Ryder and Bez, along with Paralympic swimming icon Ellie Simmonds and her pal, Radio 2 presenter Richie Anderson.
Comedians Babatunde Aleshe and Mo Gilligan will also be back on our screens, along with Diversity dancers Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely.
And they will be joined by Gavin and Stacey actor Larry Lamb, with his son George Lamb.
Celebrity Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4 and is available to stream on channel4.com.
