US pop star Madison Beer has revealed her very surprising request ahead of her Sydney concert on Friday.

The New York-born singer, 25, revealed on Wednesday that she hopes to get up close with some Australian native animals while in the country.

‘I would love to hold a koala,’ Madison told The Daily Telegraph, and then joked that she didn’t ‘judge’ the marsupials for having chlamydia.

The brunette beauty added she was accepting of however the tour turned out and was fine to take things as they came.

‘If I fumble and mess up, whatever, that’s also me. I speak from my heart, I never really plan things.’

Beer is performing her The Spinnin World Tour across three shows throughout the country.

She first performed in Brisbane on Tuesday, is set to take the stage at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on Friday and will finish up in Melbourne on Monday.

Madison, who is a platinum-selling singer, made her music debut at the age of 12, when she was discovered by Justin Bieber on YouTube.

She has become a dynamic and versatile artist whose sound blends pop and R&B.

Her second studio album, Silence Between Songs, released in September 2023, earned the star her first career Grammy nomination for Best Immersive Album.

In April 2023, she released a memoir, The Half Of It, which chronicles her past decade in the spotlight and her journey to her status as a public figure.

Madison has already released a handful of singles this year, most notably Spinnin and Sweet Relief.

The music video for Sweet Relief quickly racked up a million views in just one month.

Spinnin inspires the name of Madison’s third headlining tour, The Spinnin Tour, which began in February 2024.
