The lavish rustic retreat is just a short drive from the area where The Queensland-born actress, 34, spent some of her childhood. 

The property is now being sold by owners Chris and Chloe Lang, with Coastal real estate agent Ed Cherry overseeing the listing.

Mr Cherry said the estate, which had been operating as a luxury short-term rental, is a true sanctuary.

Surrounded on three sides by national park and boasting 500 metres of creek frontage, the acreage is accessed via a charming concrete bridge over the water.

The property’s name – The Orchard – is inspired by the many fruit and nut trees, vegetable gardens and beautifully landscaped grounds across the estate.

According to the listing, the property is the perfect location to enjoy a semi-secluded getaway while still enjoying the luxuries of home.

‘It is a hidden, high-end escape to reconnect, rejuvenate and simply soak up the beauty of nature,’ it reads.

The actress, who lives in the US with her husband Tom Ackerley, returned to Queensland over Easter for the first time since the couple welcomed a baby boy in October.

‘They waited a long time to get pregnant, so it was almost unbelievable when the baby actually arrived,’ an insider told People earlier this year.

‘They’ve both been settling into being parents. They’re homebodies so it’s been lovely to spend the time just them, at home with him,’ the insider added. 

Margot’s pregnancy was made public in July and the couple enjoyed a romantic ‘babymoon’ to Sardinia, Italy, at the end of August.

They are yet to reveal their child’s name.

Tom and Margot first met in 2013 while working on Suite Française, where he was an ᴀssistant director, and she was in front of the camera.

They cemented their relationship after moving in together with other friends in a four-bedroom house in Clapham, South London, which according to Margot was the ‘best days of my life’ and married in 2016.
