David Beckham got a makeover from his daughter Harper as he put on a brave face hours after his eldest son Brooklyn’s very public display of loyalty. 

The footballer, 50, was seen getting his make-up done by Harper, 13, in a video shared by wife Victoria on Instagram on Sunday.

The post came just hours after it was made clear the Beckham family feud is well and truly still alive as Brooklyn, 26, very publicly pledged his loyalty to his wife Nicola Peltz in a new post which said: ‘I always choose you’.

Soon after his post, younger brother Cruz made his feelings clear with a series of thinly-veiled social media digs. 

In the clip of David, Victoria could be heard saying: ‘Okay so Harper is putting some make-up on daddy. Looking gorgeous.’

‘Looking very handsome,’ Victoria added.  

Nicola, 30, and Brooklyn are understood to be at the heart of a bitter fallout with his family, who are based in the United Kingdom while they reside in Los Angeles. 

And just a few hours after Brooklyn’s pointed post about ‘choosing’ Nicola, Cruz took to his Instagram Story to share a family snap with his parents and three siblings Brooklyn, Romeo and Harper.

Although Brooklyn appeared in the family picture, Cruz appeared to make a slight dig at his brother in the post as he clearly sided with his parents with his choice of words.

Cruz, 20, penned in the caption: ‘I love my family, I love you guys more than anything, mum & dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives x.’

The pH๏τo was taken last September when the family got together to support Victoria at her Paris Fashion Week show. 

His post came just after Brooklyn’s which saw him share a video whisking his wife Nicola off for an early morning motorbike ride along palm-lined streets, presumably close to their southern California home. 

Captioning the short video, he wrote: ‘My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.’

In the video they cruised around on the motorbike as Nicola put his arms around Brooklyn and held on. 

It comes after Victoria and husband David made yet another attempt to extend an olive branch to their son Brooklyn on Thursday evening as they attended the TIME100 Impact Dinner in New York City.

Putting on a united front at the event the couple displayed a family pH๏τo taken at Victoria’s 50th last year which included all four of their children. 

It captured a moment reminiscent of happier times for the family, prior to their ongoing feud with their eldest son and his wife Nicola.

While Brooklyn was present at the former Spice Girl’s big birthday last year, both he and his wife failed to make an appearance at her 51st or at David’s 50th earlier this month. 

And while his other brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, took to social media to pay their birthday tributes to their parents, on both occasions Brooklyn stayed silent.

Earlier this week David was named on the Time100 Philanthropy list as he was recognised for his decades of advocacy and philanthropy, particularly through his work with UNICEF.

The Spice Girls alum cut an elegant figure in a sharp black tuxedo jacket and pants, paired with a white ʙuттon up underneath.

Meanwhile David looked handsome as ever in a black suit and tie as they posed with NBA star Stephen Curry, 37, and his wife Ayesha Curry, 36.

However Thursday’s event isn’t the first time the couple have attempted to offer an olive branch to Brooklyn after Victoria took to Instagram last Monday to share a group pH๏τo of their four children alongside her father, Tony Adams – who celebrated his birthday over the weekend.

Captioning the post with the accompanying message: ‘We both love you all so much!’, the undated pH๏τo also features Victoria’s mother Jackie, flanked by Brooklyn and his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, 13.

David is allegedly ‘desperate to make amends with his son as he fears history is repeating itself’ following his bitter fall out with his father Ted in 2005.

In the latest evidence of this, David included Brooklyn in a post about Mother’s Day in the U.S. as he dedicated a post to the mother of his children, Victoria.

A sweet black and white pH๏τo showed Victoria cuddled up with her four kids, soon after welcoming their daughter Harper.

Alongside the pH๏τo, David wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy. To all our friends in the U.S. Happy Mother’s Day.’

Meanwhile, Victoria shared a pH๏τograph of a beautiful bouquet of flowers she had been sent by Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29.

While David and his dad Ted, 77, now share a close-knit relationship, the father-son duo were once not even on speaking terms.

After Ted suffered a near-death health scare in 2007, it sparked the pair to make amends and get back in touch – and they have been close ever since.

And now David is reportedly worried ‘history is repeating itself’ amid his rift with his eldest son Brooklyn.

Last week Brooklyn came close to bumping into his father David during a fly-in visit to London – but the pair still seem to be worlds apart amid their ongoing feud.

The aspiring chef was back in the UK posing for a new modelling campaign with upscale fashion company Moncler following strained relations with the wider Beckham family.

While Brooklyn was taking part in the pH๏τoshoot, his father David was just half a mile up the road at the Chelsea Flower Show chatting to King Charles and Queen Camilla.

It was a fly-in visit for Brooklyn who arrived in London early Monday morning and was at the pH๏τoshoot from 9am until around 4pm.

He opted not to stay at the Beckham’s family home in Holland Park which was located close by the shoot.
