Helen Skelton looked happier than ever in a string of new pictures on social media as she announced her latest TV project amid her ‘romance’ with Gethin Jones. 

The pair have set tongues wagging in recent weeks after ‘growing close off-camera’. 

But the TV star, 41, has been busy filming for the brand new series of BBC One’s Lost and Found In The Lakes. 

Helen took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes snaps from her time on the programme. 

In one snap she beamed in a cream cropped cardigan with a big smile on her face, while in another she looked relaxed while posing for a selfie at the pub.

Speaking about the brand new series, Helen Skelton said: ‘I am thrilled to be returning to my home in the Lake District for a second series of Lost and Found in the Lakes.

‘I had a fantastic experience returning lost treasures to their owners and I cannot wait to get back to it!’ 

The BBC’s official press release says: ‘The BBC One daytime series will see Helen Skelton and her team of experts return to the beautiful Lake District as they attempt to reunite people with the treasured possessions they feared were gone for ever. 

‘Series one of Lost and Found in the Lakes was BBC One’s highest rating unscripted show in its slot in the past year.

‘The 16×30 series, which starts filming late May, captures the drama and suspense of uncovering the lost items, as well as talking to the people who have an emotional connection to both the area and the items lost.’

‘We’re thrilled to be bringing it back for a second series and can’t wait to see what finds the team will discover next.’

The first series of Lost and Found in the Lakes hit our screens in January 2025. 

Helen and Gethin appeared to ‘go public’ earlier this week.

The pair didn’t appear to be hiding their growing bond as they cosied up on Gethin’s motorbike while heading for breakfast in Manchester city centre.  

Looking stylish, Helen opted for a tan leather jacket and denim jeans as she gripped Gethin’s waist.

Wearing a black motorbike helmet, the star hopped on the back of Gethin’s Triumph Bonneville bike.

It came after the pair were seen leaving the BBC Morning Live studios just minutes after each other on Wednesday.  

MailOnline recently revealed that the Morning Live hosts have grown close off-screen, with their friendship blossoming into a deeper connection. 

Helen was previously married to Richie Myler between 2013 and 2022.
