David Beckham has revealed ‘something is missing’ in his life amid his escalating ‘feud’ with son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz.

The former footballer, 50, who played for Manchester United and England, opened up about missing his successful football career in a new interview with Time Magazine on Tuesday.

He shared: ‘I miss training every day. I miss playing every weekend. Every day, I wake up, and I feel like something’s missing. Even at 50 years old, in my head, I can still play.’ 

Elsewhere during the chat, David and his wife Victoria gave fans an insight into their fitness routine, and who ‘works harder’.  

David said: ‘I let Victoria believe that she’s working harder, but I think I’m the one that’s working harder. Don’t tell her that.’ 

Victoria added: ‘David does an hour in the gym, and I do an hour and 45 minutes, so I will let you make that decision.’

Brooklyn came close to bumping into his father David during a fly-in visit to London on Monday – but the pair still seem to be worlds apart amid their ongoing family feud.

The aspiring chef, 26, was back in the UK posing for a new modelling campaign with upscale fashion company Moncler following strained relations with the wider Beckham family.

While Brooklyn was taking part in the pH๏τoshoot, his father David was just half a mile up the road at the Chelsea Flower Show chatting to King Charles and Queen Camilla .

It was a fly-in visit for Brooklyn who arrived in London early Monday morning and was at the pH๏τoshoot from 9am until around 4pm.

He then went to his H๏τel in Park Lane to have a relaxed evening with Nicola and flew back to America at 7am on Tuesday.

He opted not to stay at the Beckham’s family home in Holland Park which was located close by the shoot.

Brooklyn and Nicola have signed a big money deal to be ambᴀssadors for the Italian brand.

A source told The Sun: ‘Brooklyn has now signed a six-figure deal to front Moncler’s new campaign and flew into London to shoot it yesterday. He was being pH๏τographed in the street and people pᴀssing by couldn’t believe it when they saw it was Brooklyn.

‘Working with Nicola on this campaign is really exciting for Brooklyn too. They love working together and think this Moncler campaign is very chic.

‘But it strikes a chord knowing how close in distance Brooklyn was to David given how tense their relations have been recently. Brooklyn was filming five minutes away by car.’

The insider noted that Brooklyn’s relationship with his family is ‘still strained’.

Brooklyn cut a trendy figure for the shoot, sporting an off-white bomber jacket with a beige jumper and cream cargo trousers.

David and Victoria are understood to be devastated following a fall-out with Brooklyn, who lives in the United States with his wife and her wealthy family.

Taking to Instagram on Monday , Victoria, 51, appeared to offer an olive branch by sharing a group pH๏τo of their four children alongside her father, Tony Adams – who celebrated his birthday over the weekend, with the accompanying message: ‘We both love you all so much!’

The undated pH๏τo also features Victoria’s mother Jackie, flanked by Brooklyn and his siblings Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.

David is allegedly ‘desperate to make amends with his son as he fears history is repeating itself’ following his bitter fall out with his father Ted in 2005.

In the latest evidence of this, David included Brooklyn in a post about Mother’s Day in the U.S. as he dedicated a post to the mother of his children, Victoria.

Over the weekend, David reached out to his son on social media as rumours of their family feud continue to bubble.

A sweet black and white pH๏τo showed Victoria cuddled up with her four kids, soon after welcoming their daughter Harper.

While Brooklyn was taking part in the pH๏τoshoot, his father David was just half a mile up the road at the Chelsea Flower Show chatting to King Charles and Queen Camilla 

Nicola is also in the UK and shared this picture on social media on Monday tagging @moncler

Alongside the pH๏τo, David wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy. To all our friends in the U.S. Happy Mother’s Day.’

Meanwhile, Victoria shared a pH๏τograph of a beautiful bouquet of flowers she had been sent by Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29.

While David and his dad Ted, 77, now share a close-knit relationship, the father-son duo were once not even on speaking terms.

After Ted suffered a near-death health scare in 2007, it sparked the pair to make amends and get back in touch – and they have been close ever since.

And now David is reportedly worried ‘history is repeating itself’ amid his rift with his and Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn.

The incredible speed of their wealth increase is also proven by the fact that the couple debuted on the rich list in 2002 with a net worth of £35million, just five years after getting together.

Victoria and David have amᴀssed their wealth over their years through their respective careers, with both continuing to rake in the cash even after retiring from football and singing.
