Amy Dowden shared a pH๏τo from hospital in her latest health update after announcing she was cancer-free last year.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 34, was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023 and underwent chemotherapy and a mastectomy.
After receiving the amazing news she was cancer-free in February 2024, Amy made her return to the ‘best show on TV’ last September after putting much ‘pressure’ on herself during her battle with the disease.
In an Instagram story on Wednesday, the ‘breast cancer warrior’ shared a pH๏τo from her latest scan weeks after announcing she is ‘feeling stronger than ever’.
Dressed in a hospital gown, Amy took mirror selfie while posing with her fingers crossed.

Just a matter of days ago, the Strictly Come Dancing star took to Instagram to announce she had raised a whopping £53,000 for breast cancer charities through her Tickled Pink campaign
She captioned the post: ‘Scan 1 done, now my MRI,’ along with nine ‘fingers-crossed’ emojis.
Since receiving the all-clear, Amy has regularly used her Instagram, where she has more than 700,000 followers, to raise awareness about cancer and her check-ups.
The Welsh dancer revealed on Sunday she had raised a whopping £53,000 for breast cancer charities Cop a Feel and Breast Cancer Now after a campaign in late 2024.
While Amy cracked a a smile in the sunshine for the Instagram post, she held the T-shirts which she sold as part of the campaign.
She captioned the heartwarming post: ‘THANK YOU, from the tickled pink campaign last Sept/Oct we raised an INCREDIBLE 53k TOWARDS @coppafeel and @breastcancernow.
‘Thank you so much to everyone who bought a t-shirt and supported the campaign and of course to @asda @georgeatasda. #thankyou’
After making her return to Strictly in September 2024 with JLS star JB Gill, Amy was forced to withdraw on week six due to a foot injury.
The dancer recently opened up about the ‘pressure’ she put on herself to return before admitting she hadn’t properly ‘accepted’ everything after her cancer treatment.

She told The Mirror: ‘Last year it was a lot of emotions, excitement but I think also pressure that I had put on myself.
‘I wasn’t confident in myself really deep down, I think I was still trying to accept everything. I didn’t look the same, with my hair growing back, you could see a difference in me.’
At the time Amy had been eagerly waiting to hear whether or not she would be featured on the 2025 series of Strictly, which will begin in the autumn.
It was confirmed early in April that Amy will indeed be returning once again, with the dancer stating on Instagram that she is ‘grateful’ for the opportunity.
‘So grateful to be back on the best show on TV for my 9th year with my strictly family,’ she wrote.
‘This show means everything to me, through the highs and my all time lows, it truly got me through my toughest of times.
‘The show is pure magic and good for the soul. I’m feeling stronger than ever. The countdown begins to be back in the rehearsal room with my strictly family. Who else is counting down the days? Keep dancing!’
