Amanda and Clive Owen were dealt with a HUGE problem on Tuesday’s episode of Our Farm Next Door.
The pair, who split in 2022 after 22 years of marriage and share nine kids, returned to our screens for a second series of the spin-off of Our Yorkshire Farm last month.
Our Farm Next Door premiered in October last year and has followed the family renovating a farm called called Anty John’s, next to their farm Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale, Yorkshire.
So far fans have seen Clive undergo a hip operation and viewers saw Amanda call her ex a ‘frustrating and horrible thing’ as they locked horns over his ‘unbearable’ behaviour in a fallout from his surgery.
But Clive’s health isn’t the only worry that he have had to deal with as builder Richard explained that a storm had ruined the past 15 months of work.
Richard told viewers: ‘We had a bit of water come down the other day…
Amanda Owen suffers HUGE problem with renovation work after storm hits the Dales on Channel 4’s Our Farm Next Door
Our Farm Next Door premiered in October last year and has followed the family renovating a farm called called Anty John’s, next to their farm Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale, Yorkshire
The pair’s builder called Richard explained that Storm Bert had caused a few issues for them in one episode
‘Storm Bert, I think it was. And this was two inches deep in water.
‘The issues caused by the electric coming into the building, believe it or not.
‘When we’ve dug the trench from the post in the field, all that water from the top of the field is coming down that pipe, which is what the electric is in, which basically comes into the building, and it’s just sending water into the building.’
He continued: ‘We’re gonna have to form some sort of drainage and redirect that water before it actually gets to the building.
‘So, we have a little problem to sort out.’
Richard said in another segment: ‘We seem to be getting everything the wrong way round.
‘We’re doing a summer job in winter.
‘We were doing the roof in the winter as well, weren’t we? I don’t think we had a summer, I think that could have been the problem.’

Last week Amanda opened up about how she wanted a ‘real’ representation of her family on the new series – just days after a dramatic fallout with Clive.
The English shepherdess took to social media to praise Channel 4 and production Wise Owl Films for helping create the programme and how her family has been portrayed.
Amanda wrote on Instagram: ‘Whilst on the theme of people behind the scenes involved in the renovation project it’s important to acknowledge the talented folk who create the tv series Our Farm Next Door.
‘Reality appears to be used very loosely in many instances but we wanted a non scripted, no scene set up, accurate portrayal of the realities of farming, families, friends complete with the flare ups, feuds and **** ups! *click bait provided*
‘To be given this opportunity by @channel4 & @wiseowlfilms & to find ourselves working with a dedicated, devoted and it has to be said fearless team & crew has been brilliant.
‘Nothing fazes them, be it snow drifts, incessant rain, ten people all talking at same time, swear words, incoherent mumblings & constant distractions they have taken it all in their stride & somehow managed to make sense of it all without going completely mad.
‘They ignored all warnings of what not to work with, children & animals & have made what I reckon to be an aesthetically pleasing, gentle series that represents us, quietly explores the rich heritage of the area & what shaped our countryside.
‘All whilst championing the often overlooked craftsmen & farmers who retain the knowledge, skills & understanding that was there long before our generation rebranded it & call it our own.
The former couple with their nine kids Raven, 23, Reuben, 21, Miles, 18, Edith, 16, Violet, 14, Sidney, 13, Annas, 11, Clemmy, nine, and Nancy, eight
‘Sustainable, regenerative, self sufficient , simple living, foods, comforts & a strong work ethic.
‘I know that there were many less pleasant aspects & terrible hardships endured but we are fortunate that we can pick which elements of the past we take away & where we can make improvements.
‘There’s one overriding element that jumps out from the diary and that is that some aspects of life never change & it’s these human, relatable diary entries that resonate with me the most.
‘So thank you’s going out to Paul, Jayne, Mark, Rebecca & Lindsay & all at @wiseowlfilms @channel4 & ultimately @jocantello1 who has never waivered or wobbled when I most certainly have.’
Finishing the lengthy post, she joked: ‘Don’t worry, this is not an Oscar acceptance so I’m not to thank the farms namesake Anthony Clarkson.. he’s ᴅᴇᴀᴅ.’
Days before Amanda branded Clive ‘unbearable’ behaviour in the wake of his surgery in an awkward scene on the show.
The two have been busy trying to renovate their farm while Clive has been recovering from a serious operation.
In one scene, Amanda brutally said to Clive: ‘You have been unbearable.’

Clive replied: ‘I have not! I’ve kept myself to myself. ‘I’ve minded my own business.
‘I don’t think I’ve shouted at anybody or anything.’
Amanda told him: ‘There was one day you were sat in your underpants staring at the floor in the kitchen. Yeah?
‘You were really angry.’
‘It is a really frustrating, horrible thing, but anyway, never mind,’ Clive clapped back.
