Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has revealed she’s desperate to have children – but admits the gruelling demands of her showbiz career are delaying her dreams of becoming a mum.
The 35-year-old Aussie pro, who lifted the Glitterball Trophy last year, revealed that time spent with her nieces and nephews over Christmas triggered serious baby fever.
Dianne, who’s been dating YouTuber Joe Sugg, 33, since they met on Strictly in 2018, told The Sun: ‘I would like to have children, 100 per cent.
‘Joe and I love kids, and that’s definitely something that we would absolutely love. I haven’t really thought about how many I would like. It will definitely happen.’
The couple, who live in a £3.5million home in Brighton, have been flooded with baby chat recently, but say their hectic schedules are the biggest hurdle.
Dianne is currently preparing to hit the road for a 30-date UK tour with fellow Strictly dancer Vito Coppola, while also promoting a new podcast with 2023 partner Chris McCausland.

The pro dancer admitted juggling motherhood and a performance career would be ‘a challenge’ but insisted it’s something both she and Joe are excited about.
She said: ‘My job is quite demanding and I love it so much.
‘It is a tough one to balance out and think about. It would take a lot of thought, but eventually one day we’ll get there, but there is lots happening at the moment. It will happen when it’s supposed to.’
The pair already play aunt and uncle to Joe’s nieces and Dianne’s nephews back in Australia, and say time with them has only confirmed their desire to become parents.
The former So You Think You Can Dance star first joined the UK version of Strictly in 2017 and has built a reputation as one of its most popular professionals.
Her win with Chris McCausland last year – Strictly’s first blind contestant – was praised by fans and marked the highlight of her career so far.
She said: ‘The Glitterball is in my office so when I’m working it can remind me that hard work can pay off and I’ve already achieved so much. I’m so proud of it.’
Despite the intense workload, Dianne says she’s kept her body in top shape with an intense routine that includes daily sauna sessions, ice baths, Pilates and a clean diet.

She even credits Dutch cold-exposure guru Wim Hof with helping her manage stress and anxiety since taking part in Freeze The Fear in 2022.
Dianne and Joe, who met during his 2018 stint on the dance show, are now one of the UK’s most successful social media couples with a combined fortune of nearly £9million.
Strictly also brought her close friend and now tour partner Vito Coppola into her life. She says he feels ‘like family’, thanks to her Italian heritage.

The dancer hopes to return for another series of the BBC show later this year, admitting it still gives her a buzz after seven years and whilst the job is ‘tiring’, it’s ‘never a drag’.
It comes after Dianne shrieked as she was grilled about engagement rumours by Susanna Reid during a live episode of Good Morning Britain in March.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 35, was recently spotted wearing a ring on social media.
While appearing on the ITV show with Vito Coppola, host Susanna took the chance to question Dianne about the speculation.

She asked: ‘I want to ask you because there was a lot of speculation about the fact that you might have got engaged over the last couple of days!’
Dianne explained: ‘It’s a really funny story! I was in Australia and it’s quite H๏τ over there. I had just flown in and my fingers get a little bit swollen on the plane.
‘I’m taking pictures with my family and I put them online so everyone thought I was engaged. I’m not engaged.’

Ed Balls jokingly added: ‘Joseph, what are you doing? What’s he doing, seriously?’
The couple met on the sixteenth series of the BBC dance show after being partnered together.
They finished runners-up to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, who later started dating and welcomed their daughter Minnie earlier this year.
Dianne has talked openly about their own plans to start a family, previously telling Women’s Health: ‘Joe is the most supportive person. I’d love to have a family one day, and I know Joe would love a family too. That would be our dream one day.’
Joe found fame with his ‘ThatcherJoe’ YouTube channel before launching spin-offs ‘ThatcherJoeVlogs’ and ‘ThatcherJoeGames’.
In December Joe shared a sweet, gushing message to celebrate his girlfriend Dianne and her Strictly partner Chris after they were victorious on the BBC show.
The duo were crowned 2024’s champions after the comedian made history as the show’s first-ever blind contestant and winner.
Chris pipped fellow finalists Tasha Ghouri, JB Gill and Sarah Hadland to the post in the ‘best ever’ final, with his cheeky wit and inspiring story helping to save the show following a year of scandals.
