The Real Housewives of Dallas alum Tiffany Moon ‘did not make many new friends’ while starring in the fifth and final season of the Bravo reality show in 2021 due to alleged bullying on set.
‘I don’t regret [being on RHOD],’ the 40-year-old anesthesiologist admitted in her newly-published book Joy Prescriptions. ‘But I wish I could have had a different cast.’
Tiffany felt like she ‘had walked onto the set of Mean Girls’ as she only knew D’Andra Simmons and was not familiar with Stephanie Hollman, Brandi Redmond, Kameron Westcott, and Kary Brittingham.
‘The mean-girl behavior — including calling me boring, encouraging me to drink more than I wanted to, and mocking me for having a curfew — was so relentless that after week two, I asked the producers if I could be demoted to “friend of,”‘ Moon wrote.
‘I wanted off that roller coaster. But once you’re strapped in and the bar comes down, you can’t get off until the end. I was told absolutely not, I had to stick it out.’
By the last month of shooting, the Birkin-loving doctor invited her castmates over to see her new custom bag, and one of them later called it ‘tacky’ and accused her of ‘showing off.’

‘Wow, I thought, that’s not what you said at the time,’ Tiffany scoffed.
‘The amount of two-faced behavior was unreal. Even though the show had been filmed months before, and the conflicts being discussed were in the past, it was hurtful to watch. Most of all, I was embarrᴀssed that I’d started to think these women were actually my friends. As I watched the show, it became very clear to me that they were not.’
Moon was particularly irked when a ‘drunken cast member’ forced tequila down her throat and pushed her into a swimming pool while she was full clothed in a brand new jumpsuit during a birthday party.

‘My clothes and hair and make-up were ruined. Some of the other women laughed. I felt like I was being hazed,’ the married mother-of-two recalled.
Another time, Tiffany rushed from work to make her 7pm call time for a shoot, but the rest of her castmates didn’t turn up until 8:30pm.
‘I was furious. I had barely seen my children that day, and now I found that I could have stayed home a little longer with them?’ Moon wrote.
‘I didn’t know you could just casually saunter in whenever you felt like it and say something like “Sorry, my glam squad was running behind” or “I had a fashion emergency.” Yes, those were things that were actually stated as reasons for my castmates’ tardiness.’
In one episode, the Bravo-lebrity hosted a dim sum brunch where producers ‘adamantly’ pressured her to pressure her co-stars – specifically Kameron – to try to eat fried chicken feet.
‘In hindsight, I shouldn’t have been so pushy about trying to convince someone to eat something she didn’t want to eat,’ Tiffany regretted.

‘In real life, I would never act like that. But then again, we were filming for a reality TV show, and no one is going to tune in to watch us sitting around drinking tea and exchanging niceties.’
Moon also made one of her castmates ‘physically ill’ pulling a prank by serving her cricket-filled pizza during a different gathering.
‘When that episode aired and I watched it, it was all very cringey. I kept thinking, Why the hell was I trying so hard?’ the influencer-vlogger lamented.
The ‘Chicken Feet Gate’ scandal resurfaced during the 15-hour fifth season reunion taping during which she was also accused of being ‘racist’ for parodying her Chinese immigrant mother on social media.
‘She reasoned that this was stereotyping and that “stereotyping was racism”; therefore, I was racist,’ Tiffany – who suffered two nosebleeds from stress – wrote.
‘Huh? So I’m racist? Against my own race? Because I made fun of my own mother? My brain hurt.’
Other revelations from the 224-page tell-all was that the Bravo Network pays for the cast to take one local weekend trip and one international weeklong trip as well as providing professional glam for confessional tapings.
‘What is always free is the alcohol,’ Moon wrote.

Tiffany is next scheduled to bring her seven-date Joy Prescriptions book tour to Books & Books in Coconut Grove, FL this Wednesday.
‘The showrunners make sure it is abundantly available. Before shooting starts, you’re asked what your favorite drink is (tequila, vodka, red wine, champagne, etc.), and that drink is always at your side. I mean, I’m not one to complain about free alcohol, but I just wished it came with some food.
‘In retrospect, I think the fact that dinner took four hours to be served but alcohol flowed freely was a strategic move to loosen up the cast, if you know what I mean.’
