Mellencamp has been recovering from brain surgery which removed several plumb sized tumors.
She then underwent radiation and immunotherapy to try to rid her body of the stage four cancer threatening her life.
The fitness coach has been bravely sharing her cancer journey since she was first diagnosed with melanoma, a form of skin cancer, in late 2022.

Mellencamp gave more details about game day in her Instagram Stories, where she shared video of their ride to the field.
A quick clip shows the fitness instructor behind the wheel of a mini-van or SUV with hip hop music blaring over the speakers.
‘Cruz and Marcos get to pick the music bc it’s game day,’ she wrote of the snippet, and tagging her friend, Marisela Arechiga.
Another cute moment shows her daughter, Dove, five, pulling a very full pink unicorn roller bag behind her as they head into the stadium.
Once there, she enjoys a lap on the track while her brother and his team ran through some practice drills.

She then put a hair net over the cap, a practice many equestrians use to keep their hair in place. ‘I gotta tell you, a wig underneath a helmet is not what it’s all about,’ Mellencamp said
