Celebrity Big Brother’s Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa’s relationship dynamics could already be changing its been claimed, after their first joint interview since leaving the house where they raised eyebrows with their very close bond. 

The ex Love Islander, 32, and Dance Moms star, 21, appeared on Monday’s This Morning following their weekend together, where they enjoyed  ‘Sunday mᴀssages’ and walks in the park – after JoJo brutally dumped partner Kath Ebbs, 28, at the CBB afterparty. 

Despite Chris telling hosts Cat Deeley, 48, and Ben Shephard, 50, that the pair shared a strong ‘soul mate friendship’, body language expert Judi James has said he is already ‘feeling awkward’ and trying to ‘pull away’ from ‘besotted’ JoJo.

She told MailOnline: ‘The body language during this first “couples” interview suggests this is a reality “no-mance” with Chris in particular gently but carefully uncoupling professionally and maybe also emotionally from JoJo, who shows some signs of wanting to remain in their bliss-bubble a little longer’.

Judi also pointed out that Chris, who was sat closest to the hosts, mirrored their body language to ‘define himself on their team’ and not with JoJo, who was at the end of the sofa looking up at him  ‘like a child trying to get attention’. 

‘Chris’s attention when JoJo did get it involved a patting of her leg, which was a parental-looking signal to calm down as he turned his attention fully back to the presenters’.

Judi also said that Chris looked ‘distracted’ and ‘slightly uncomfortable’ when JoJo spoke.

‘Chris described their relationship in the house as “A nice thing to have”, when Ben asked them to define their relationship Chris sat impᴀssive, looking ahead while JoJo patted his shoulder and eye-checked him, suggesting she’s the one who is unsure about the dynamics of their relationship’. 

‘As she gazed at his face to find out he brought his left hand up in a cut-off ritual, wiping his nose with it in an act of what looked like rejection of any sense of romance as he said it was “Just” a strong friendship’.

Judi pointed out that when asked if their relationship was platonic JoJo giggled and looked excited while Chris pulled at his shirt while squirming in his seat.  

‘Their last pose at the end of the interview showed JoJo doing all the heavy lifting in the relationship, placing her head onto Chris’s shoulder to look loving and besotted while Chris just patted her on the leg’.

During they addressed the speculation around their relationship with JoJo saying of their frienship:’Obviously we’re close.’ 

Chris added: ‘Our friendship is, it’s hard to explain. It’s just a really strong bond. A strong friendship. You can have a soul mate friendship. I think that’s a thing.’

Ben asked if she wanted anything more, to which JoJo said: ‘Look, he’s a great guy. It’s platonic. We have a lot of fun together. I don’t know the future, whatever life does, it will do.’

The couple raised eyebrows in the house after growing very close with Chris even referring to JoJo – who had a partner – as his girlfriend

JoJo also revealed more details about her split from former partner Kath, saying: ‘Honestly when I went into the house, day one was fun, day two fun, but then day three I was in my own thoughts, away from everyone I know and outside opinions.

‘I sat with myself and really realised things I was okay with in my life I never should have been okay with. So many things.

‘Obviously I wanted to hold them inside, didn’t want to air it out publicly. There were things I knew I shouldn’t be okay with and I’m not happy.

‘I knew as soon as I got out I wanted to fix things and make the changes I needed to make.

‘The first thing you want to do is exactly what you need to make it as good as you can.’ 

Recounting how the pair ended things at the show’s wrap party, she elaborated: ‘I’ll be honest, that was not a plan or my intention. It wasn’t supposed to happen like that’.

‘They weren’t going to come, then an hour into the party they attended, one thing lead to another, they asked if I was happy and I said no. The conversation took place there.’

Those watching at home rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on their friendship – and it’s certainly a mixture of opinions.

One said: ‘I’m rooting for them, whether they’re friends or become more, a close bond with someone who lets her be herself is something Jojo needs and probably has never properly had before, bless them #thismorning.’

JoJo’s TikTok account liked a video of the pair dancing intimately in the Big Brother house, which was captioned: ‘Why does it look like there [sic] trying not to kiss’

Aussie influencer Kath (pictured) confirmed she’d been dumped by JoJo at the show’s afterparty 

‘Jojo is so incredibly emotionally mature for her age. I was nothing like that at 21 and still not like that at 37 She’s incredible!’
