Jennifer Aniston is opening up about the measures she takes to combat her fear of flying on airplanes.
‘I have an extreme fear of flying,’ the 56-year-old actress — who heads haircare brand Lolavie — said in a conversation with Travel + Leisure.
The Los Angeles-born beauty revealed that she used to be supersтιтious, touching whichever plane she boarded with her right hand and stepping onto it with her right foot first.
But these days she’s trying something different.
‘I have been doing some hypnosis lately, and one of the requirements is to remove all of those supersтιтions,’ she shared. ‘I have not been doing the right hand, right foot [thing anymore] — and now it’s shockingly good!’

Aniston also credited ‘plugging into a good meditation’ with helping to ease her fear.
Additionally, she’ll make it a point to stretch or move around throughout her flights.
Another issue she’s tackling when it comes to travel is being an efficient packer.

‘I’ve been trying so hard to become an under-packer because I am notoriously an over-packer,’ the movie star admitted.
‘You just don’t know where you’re going to be on a certain day, or what mood you’re going to be in,’ she added in her defense.
On the bright side, she noted, ‘My girlfriends really appreciate me because they can usually borrow all of my things that they have forgotten.’
‘I’m providing a service!’ the Friends sensation joked.
The blonde beauty highlighted the importance of traveling, as it helps to provide a bigger perspective.
‘It’s all very important and expands our awareness greater than what we’re confined to,’ she emphasized.
