Celebrity Big Brother star Daley Thompson has shocked his housemates after regaling his hilarious first meeting with David Beckham. 

The decathlete, 66, who won two Olympic gold medals in the sport, made the unbelievable confession during a game of Never Have I Ever. 

‘Alright, never ever have I been rude to a fan,’ Angellica Bell asks during Wednesday’s episode. Daley raises his hand and JoJo Siwa encourages him to stand up and dish the dirt.

‘So, back in the day when I was training, I was training at Crystal Palace – and I was pole vaulting,’ he begins. ‘So I’m in the middle of my session, got my head on, got my game head on and this kid comes up to me and says, “Can I have your autograph?” 

‘I said “No not now, I’m really busy. Please let me…”, and he said, “My school’s only here for an hour, I want your autograph”. I say, “Sorry son, you can’t” and the kid walks off.’ 

Daley went on to reveal that years later he met that same boy, now a man, who said the athlete had actually told him to ‘f*** off’ during the exchange. It was Beckham.

He said: ‘A few years later, I meet him and he says to me, “You told me to f**k off”. I said “Yeah, not sure I did” … It was David Beckham.’

The housemates all gasp in shock as Jack P. Shepherd says: ‘That’s brilliant.’

‘That’s a good one,’ Chesney Hawkes adds, before Daley jokes: ‘And he’s a lying git.’

Jack goes on to ask ‘Cause you didn’t tell him to f**k off?’ to which Daley replies: ‘No I don’t remember, I don’t remember.’

Never Have I Ever also brings tension as Patsy Palmer takes Ella Rae Wise to task for a comment about a married man. 

Danny asks the housemates: ‘Should we do some like, never have I ever hooked up with a really famous person.’

‘Oh god,’ Daley says, sensing it could be a problematic move, before Ella says: ‘Yes, that’s a good one.’

None of the housemates raise their hands so Danny asks: ‘No?’

Never Have I Ever also brings tension as Patsy Palmer takes Ella Rae Wise to task for a comment about a married man

But then Ella pipes up suggesting a tweak to the question, saying: ‘Or never have I ever had a really famous person in my DMs. 

‘Oh, I have, mine’s a naughty one cause he’s got a wife.’

But Patsy responds: ‘No, you better not share that. Don’t share things about people with wives.’

Patsy quietly says to Chesney: ‘I hate that kind of thing. It brings it low. Like we’re not scum of the earth.’

Ella, having overheard Patsy, says to Danny: ‘Why is everyone so serious today?’

‘I don’t know,’ Danny replies, before Ella says: ‘Pats made me feel really bad about saying that. But I didn’t reply to the DM. I didn’t reply to the DM.’

Patsy says: ‘I think it’s sometimes good to flag up ’cause everyone gets carried away. 

‘But you do have to be protective of yourself ’cause you might regret it in the morning. You know how things can go and it’s not nice.’

‘Yeah, 100 per cent,’ Angelica agrees, before Ella responds: ‘Oh no, this was obviously before he was married. He’s married now…’

Ella, having overheard Patsy mention her comment, says to Danny: ‘Why is everyone so serious today?’

In the diary room, Jack says: ‘My first nomination is Ella, because I ain’t seen her wash a pot while we’ve been in here. It’s pissing me off, you know what I mean!’

Meanwhile for her nominations, JoJo says: ‘I need everybody to put your seat belt on. With so much love for this man, I am gonna say Danny’

Elsewhere in the episode, the housemates are all told to gather on the sofa as another set of nominations begins. 

In the diary room, Jack says: ‘My first nomination is Ella, because I ain’t seen her wash a pot while we’ve been in here. It’s pissing me off, you know what I mean!

‘Even Chris who does nothing, I’ve seen him wash up more times. And JoJo, they all lend a hand. I haven’t seen Ella get her hands in the sink yet.’

Meanwhile for her nominations, JoJo says: ‘I need everybody to put your seat belt on. With so much love for this man, I am gonna say Danny.’

‘With both being part of the LGBTQ family, I think now as we’ve found our feet in the house, I feel like we’ve kind of distanced. And so I’ve really tried to make an effort to talk about things with him and a lot of the time those efforts do get ignored. I mean I feel like I should feel that with Daley, you know what I mean, I don’t feel like I should feel that with Danny.’
