Celebrity Big Brother fans have hit out at Patsy Palmer for her ‘disrespectful’ behaviour following Trisha Goddard’s eviction.
During Wednesday’s instalment of the hit ITV reality show, British TV host Trisha, 67, became the second housemate to be evicted after receiving the fewest number of votes to be saved.
After the result was announced, Trisha said her goodbyes before exiting to a mix of cheers, where she was greeted by hosts AJ Odudu, 37, and Will Best, 40.
However, Patsy appeared visibly unhappy with the outcome, telling her fellow housemates that she wished she had been the one to leave.
Looking saddened by the result, she said: ‘I am gutted. Sorry, i do love you all so much, but I just, I am.
‘I was hoping that people would see “oh she’s really missing her kids, don’t vote for her.”

Pretending to speak to her children through a banana as if it were a phone, she added: ‘Listen be home soon.’
However, viewers were left unimpressed with her behaviour, flocking to X (formerly Twitter) to express their outrage.
One fumed: ‘I find it so disrespectful when a housemate complains they didn’t leave when a housemate that just left really wanted to stay.
‘Like Michael & Trisha loved being there & appreciated it meanwhile Mickey, Patsy & Jack complained it wasn’t them that left… Ungrateful.’;
‘As much as i love THEEE Patsy Palmer.. i can’t keep hearing her say how much she wants to go or time to go faster.’;
While another fan rushed to Patsy’s defence, saying: ‘Patsy has been away from her family for ages she was over here filming EE for months and then went straight in to CBB, it’s okay for her to miss her family.’
Later in the episode, JoJo Siwa, 21, also opened up in the Diary Room, revealing that she finds it ‘hard’ to connect with Patsy.
Following Trisha’s eviction, she said: ‘I think I feel sad. Cause I think she’s the only one that really hoped it didn’t go that way, you know what i mean? Like, I think Patsy wanted it to go the other way, and I think jack doesn’t care.

‘I would literally give my right arm to stay in here till the end. I am having the best time, I’m loving it.
She continued: ‘I was watching tonight – I was watching Patsy – and I was like, “I cannot fathom feeling like that”
‘I know Patsy wished she’d gone home. And I think that’s really hard to see, because there are so many people that do want to be here, and be here till the end.’
‘I think she’s an angel, but I find it the hardest to be close to Patsy.’
‘I feel like every time I talk to Patsy I feel down, I feel down after. Maybe it’s just her tone… I just feel like she’s sad.’
It comes after Trisha became the second housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother 2025.
The veteran broadcaster had signed up for the ITV show to prove to patients they should ‘not be scared of living’ after being diagnosed with terminal stage four cancer.
But after going head-to-head with Patsy and Jack P. Shepherd in the public vote, Trisha received the fewest number of votes to be saved, and so bid farewell after nine days on the show.

As Trisha headed out of the house, the presenter herself also admitted she was ‘a bit sad’ to be leaving the show.
Speaking to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, Trisha brushed off the housemates’ reasons for nominating her, especially Chesney Hawkes’ that conversations with her felt like being on her talk show.
She said: ‘That’s actually a great compliment… No because we all said we were all scratching around in the dirt to find something negative to stay around each other.’
The star also reflected on her decision to sign up for the show, admitting it was a welcome break for her from cancer treatment.
She added: ‘Really, it meant a lot, it meant a lot, it was respite it was a holiday from having to think about cancer, because with the BB team and with my team in the Stes so I didn’t have to think of the next scan, and I could be like a child again.

‘Yes I did talk about cancer because I had to, and it is part of my life, as it is for 3.4 million Brits. It was just a break from having to think about it.
‘Heavy subjects came up now and again, but it was just a break!’
Trisha received her terminal diagnosis 20 months ago and received palliative care while in the house.
Trisha has secondary breast cancer – meaning the disease started in the breast and spread to another part of the body – for which there is treatment but no cure.
In February last year, she revealed her cancer had returned after previously being given the all-clear.
As well as having her own private room during her stay in the house, the broadcaster had with her ‘a bag full of meds’ amid her ongoing cancer treatment.
Celebrity Big Brother airs every night on ITV1, except on Saturday nights.
