Katy Perry revealed the normal task she started up again following her return from the Blue Origin space launch that occurred earlier this week on Monday.
The Firework songstress, 40 – who joined an all-female crew which included Gayle King and Lauren Sanchez for the journey – took to her Instagram stories to share a snap while packing her daughter Daisy’s school lunch on Wednesday.
The four-year-old was seen publicly for the first time alongside father Orlando Bloom as they supported Perry during the controversial 11-minute trip – which has been slammed as a ‘joyride for the super rich.’
Back on Earth, Katy uploaded a pH๏τo of a silver tray that was filled with tasty snacks such as carrots, raspberries and a star-shaped sandwich.
She added text at the bottom which read: ‘back to the best reality, packing school lunch,’ followed by a red heart and flower emoji.
The pop singer and Hollywood actor welcomed their first child together back in 2020 and have kept their little one out of the spotlight until Perry’s space mission.

Katy was one of the six all-female crew members that launched into space with Gayle King, Lauren Sanchez, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen and Kerianne Flynn on Jeff Bezos’ private space company Blue Origin.
She paid a special tribute to daughter Daisy by holding up the flower at one point during the short flight.
On the ground in Texas, the four-year-old could be seen watching the launch with her father while wearing an astronaut costume.
During the event, Daisy could also be seen sweetly calling out, ‘My mama!’ as the crew landed.
Both Perry and Bloom had long discussions about whether to bring their daughter to the space launch and also show the little one for the first time, a source recently told DailyMail.com.
‘Katy had planned a beautiful tribute to her daughter which was bringing the daisy into space with her. This was to honor her and show her how much she means to her,’ the insider stated.
‘Daisy is her life, and she is so protective of her but it was time to introduce her to the world. This was the perfect way to let the world see her.’
The source then explained that Daisy’s public appearance ‘won’t be a one-off situation’ and fans can expect to see Katy and Orlando’s child more often.

In regards to letting their daughter watch the mission, the couple agreed that it would be ‘monumental’ but the two stars also understood that ‘they had to acknowledge that something could go wrong.’
However, Jeff Bezos – who is currently engaged to Lauren Sanchez – helped convince Perry and Bloom to allow Daisy to attend the event.

‘If it did, Daisy would have been traumatized. Ultimately, Jeff was able to convince them that the risk was incredibly low,’ the insider continued.
A separate source added that, ‘this wasn’t just fun for Katy, she wants Daisy to be proud of her and show her daughter that she can do anything.’
The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor was only briefly seen at the launch because, ‘He did not want to take away from Katy’s moment and he also did not want people to see the fear in his eyes.’
Perry was also spotted sharing an adorable moment with Daisy while heading towards the launch area.
The Dark Horse hitmaker could be seen leaning out of the window in a black SUV to touch the little one’s cheek. Katy also gave Daisy a quick kiss as she was propped up on Bloom’s shoulders.
After returning to Earth, Perry also held a Daisy flower in her hand and gushed about its symbolism.

She said that it can ‘grow in all conditions’ and added that they ‘are common flowers but they grow through any condition, they grow through cement, through cracks, through walls.
‘They are resilient, they are powerful, they are strong, they are everywhere. To me, flowers are God’s smile. They are a reminder of our beautiful earth and the beautiful magic that is everywhere all around us.’
Perry also ranked the Blue Origin space mission and said it was ‘second’ behind being a mom. ‘That’s why it was hard for me to go, because that’s all my love right there.
‘And I have to surrender and trust that the universe is going to take care of me and protect me and also my family and my daughter. To go to space is incredible and I wanted to model courage and worthiness and fearlessness.’
While she held up the flower while exiting the rocket, Katy also had a viral moment as she bent down to kiss the ground.
However, the flight has since been slammed by social media users and other celebrities such as Emily Ratajkowski and Olivia Munn.
The Predator actress previously called the mission ‘gluttonous’ earlier this month while on Today With Jenna And Friends.
When the topic of the flight was brought up, Olivia questioned: ‘What are they doing? Like why? You know what I mean?

‘I know that this is probably not the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now.’
Munn then added, ‘What are you going to do up in space? What are you doing up there?’
The mother-of-two also later expressed, ‘I just was like, why do you guys need to tell us about it? It’s like just go up there, have a good time, come on down.
‘Also, you know, I just think about – I know that this is probably obnoxious – but like, it’s so much money to go to space. You know, there’s a lot of people that can’t even afford eggs.’
Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski also jumped to TikTok to slam the launch for ‘destroying the planet.’
The media personality said, ‘That space mission this morning? That’s end time s**t. Like, this is beyond parody.
‘That you care about Mother Earth and it’s about Mother Earth, and you’re going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that’s singlehandedly destroying the planet?’
She added, ‘Look at the state of the world and think about how many resources went into putting these women into space. For what? What was the marketing there? And then to try to make it like… I’m disgusted, literally I’m disgusted.’

Perry was also brutally mocked over her interview with Good Morning America after returning to Earth.
‘I hope they can see the unity that we modeled and replicate that and understand that we weren’t just taking up space, we were making space for the future,’ the singer expressed.
‘And for me, like Gayle [King] said, this wasn’t a ride, it wasn’t a destination, it was a journey, and it was a supernatural one, and my journey has always been about love and belonging.’
Katy added, ‘I think that we have all felt that sometimes we weren’t worthy or we didn’t belong in certain ways.

‘No matter all the accolades, no matter all the studying, no matter anything, and I think today we all said it, like, we belong here. This is where we belong, and we feel very sure of that.’
However, social media users shared their opinions over the speech in the comment section of the clip that was uploaded to GMA’s TikTok page.
One penned, ‘They really think they’ve done something great for humanity. The ego’s are insane,’ while another typed, ‘People can’t afford their rent or even groceries, but sure Katy Perry in space will help.’
‘Barbie outfits. The world is on fire. Read the room,’ one added, and another wrote, ‘What?? What is she talking about?! Did they think they were going into battle or they were part of some mission to save lives??’
