‘Very emotional film, sad, disturbing but well crafted. Poor Henry he went running from the horrors and ended up worse.’

‘Great cinematography acting and tragic story.’

‘Very moving and touching film! Great Cinematography with solid acting to back it up. Must watch with a guaranteed tear at the end!’

‘Extremely moving film about this true event from WW2. Strongly recommended!’

Though not everyone has been impressed with the film and one viewer wrote: ‘Nicely acted but there’s very little to the story other than the main tragic incident.

‘The character development is not particularly compelling and the aftermath rescue scenes got tedious. Not really worth recommending.’

Another Netflix drama, Collateral, has left fans gripped. The four-part TV show, created and written by David Hare, hit our screens in 2018 on BBC Two.

Telly fans will be happy to know that despite it being released seven years ago on the Beeb, they are now able to watch it on streaming service Netflix.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads: ‘Investigating the murder of a pizza delivery man, a London detective uncovers a tangled conspiracy involving drug dealers, smugglers and spies.’

The Bombardment is available to stream on Netflix.
