Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa is ‘laughing all the way to the bank’, according to one of her former Dance Moms colleagues. 

The singer, 21, has been at the centre of some of the series’ most H๏τly-discussed topics in an action-packed first week in the house.

She was on the receiving end of a barrage of homophobic comments from Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke, who was later kicked off the show for his behaviour.

JoJo then gained fan attention for her friendship with Love Island hunk Chris Hughes, in what some viewers have branded ‘flirty’ behaviour, and eventually earned herself a punishment after using secret code to communicate with the reality star on Monday.

Now Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller has shed some light on the musician’s personality and backed her to achieve success in the industry.

She told GB News: ‘She started as a little kid doing this cute little boomerang song and she had over a billion views on it. From there, it’s just gone up and up.

‘A lot of those people that are her super fans right now, me included, they knew her as a little kid, and they’ve grown up with her.

‘She’s going to be a pop star. Any time I’m asked about JoJo and her music, I always say that kid is laughing all the way to the bank.’

Abby also predicted JoJo to go far in CBB, after being impressed by the star from the moment she joined Dance Moms, aged 11. 

‘I just know that Jojo is a good compeтιтor,’ she added. ‘She likes to compete and she’s going to be great at the challenges, whether they’re physical or mental or if she has to sing or dance or act, she’s going to be good.’

Discussing her time on the US TV show, Abby continued: ‘She was not quiet. She was feisty. She had charisma. She was precious and adorable. 

‘Her face, you looked at her and you just thought she was this angel, and then she opened her mouth. But she was a very charismatic, intense, strong dancer.

‘I follow [JoJo]. I talk to her at least once a week, I talk to her mom. I’m very proud of her.

‘When she left Dance Moms she had a deal with a huge conglomerate over here. You couldn’t walk into any of our big stores without seeing her name, without seeing toys that she designed and clothing that she did.’

JoJo and Chris broke Big Brother’s rules this week by sharing secret messages away from the rest of the cast.

The duo have been setting tongues wagging of late thanks to their super close relationship, with many even claiming Ella Rae Wise is ‘jealous’ over their bond. 

And they once again found themselves at the centre of drama as JoJo appeared to draw out an unknown message on the Love Island hunk’s hand as their housemates slept around them.

Lying on the floor next to his bed, the Karma hitmaker grabbed his hand and spelled something out with her finger, before telling him to ‘think about it’ and adding that it ‘made sense’.

And it appears that Big Brother wasn’t impressed by the late night communications as the show’s official X account later revealed that the two would be punished for the rule break.

It wrote: ‘RULE BREAK ALERT. At 1:59 am JoJo wrote messages on Chris’ hand in secret. Big Brother has decided their punishment… They both must speak through a megaphone for all to hear until further notice.’

Daley Thompson fumed: ‘That’s not a punishment, that’s a punishment for us. They’re laughing because they’re annoying us.’

Angellica Bell added: ‘Big Brother likes to put a cat amongst the pigeons.’

Clearly unimpressed, several housemates – including Danny Beard – stormed into the food storage room and took JoJo’s popcorn.

Danny forcefully ripped open the bag, and the group began tucking in without the singer knowing.

Laughing with a mouthful of the treat, Ella quipped, ‘It’s even better when it’s hers,’ as she and Angellica agreed on their love for popcorn.

Upon their entrance into the house, viewers predicted a romance between the TOWIE beauty, 24, and Chris, 32, was certain to blossom – until he unexpectedly started lavishing all his attention on JoJo.

Fans have since declared that Ella is ‘jealous’ of the pop star and her close bond with the Love Island favourite, noting that she’s miffed he’s paying little attention to her.

And as the trio continue to get tongues wagging, it appears that the reason that Chris hasn’t made any moves on Ella is due to her ex boyfriend Dan Edgar.

According to The Sun, Chris is pals with Dan and believes that making moves on his friend’s ex so soon after their break-up goes against ‘The Bro Code.’ 

Later in the episode, JoJo opened up to Big Brother about the secret message she had sent to Chris.

When asked in the Diary Room, she revealed: ‘It’s something that I’m not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about but it has to do with gender and how do I feel.’

She went on: ‘Let’s put it this way. Oh my God, this is a lot. Essentially, you have female, you have male. 

‘I’ve met a lot of females and love them but don’t feel like I’m them. Met a lot of males, love them but definitely not them.’
