Legendary Hollywood actor Christoph Waltz looks unrecognisable in an unearthed clip as he sings in leotard as a teen decades before his rise to fame.

The Austrian and German actor, 68, is best known for taking on roles in films such as Inglorious Basterds, Carnage, Big Eyes and James Bond films Spectre and No Time to Die.

Over the years he’s managed to bag a number of prestigious awards, including Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy and Academy Awards.

But before shooting to fame he appeared in an Austrian children’s TV show called Am Dam Des, which aired between 1975 and 1993.

He joined the cast as a singer in 1977.

One fan has found an old clip of Christoph on the programme and then contrasted it against him playing the role of Hans Landa in Inglorious Bastards.

The first video shows a baby-faced Christoph in a multi-coloured stripe leotard and bright orange turtle neck underneath.

Then a clip of him in the Euro War film was played out.

His alter-ego Hans Landa said: ‘You’re sheltering enemies of the state, are you not?

Twitter user Emir Han, who edited the video, posted it on X with the caption: ‘to think that this man will play one of the greatest villains in movie history three decades later..’

Many rushed to reply to the tweet to share their shock at the start contrast of the videos.
