It would mean the hopeful contestant is one step closer to winning the compeтιтion and securing the huge £250,000 cash prize and a Royal Variety Performance.
Each of the five semi-finals will air each weekend on Saturday’s from April 26, except for the fourth, which will be broadcast on Sunday, May 18.
It will see eight acts competing every weekend for the Golden Buzzer to be pressed.
At the end, the public will also vote for their favourite act that night, which will secure them a place in the final.
It comes after another shocking twist happened on Britain’s Got Talent last week when the roles were reversed and Simon Cowell received the golden buzzer.
The judge took to the stage after magician act The Hacker settled into Simon’s seat on the panel and began instructing the star as he performed the act on his behalf.
The Hacker, whose idenтιтy and voice were disguised, had the audience and fellow judges in hysterics as he mimicked Simon’s iconic lines before hitting the golden buzzer at the end of the impressive mind reading and AI act.
Simon was left shocked as the gold confetti poured from the ceiling and fans were left questioning whether it counted as a ‘real’ golden buzzer moment.
