Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cᴀssidy has opened up about her journey with grief as she revealed another ‘sign’ she believes the late star has sent her.
The influencer, 25, has been sharing her healing journey with fans and while some have thanked her for being so open, others have accused her of using the singer’s death for her own personal gain.
Liam, who had been dating Kate, 25, for two years when he died in October, had been with her in Argentina until two days before he fell 45ft to his death from a H๏τel balcony at the age of 31.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, the beauty posted a selfie in a white vest top and baseball cap as she requested her followers to ask her some questions.
Responding to a question asked on how she is dealing with the grief, she said: ‘Grieving can be really unpredictable. Some days I feel okay, and other days it’s just hard.
‘I’m taking it day by day and doing the best I can. I’m sorry if you’ve lost someone too.’

Kate also revealed in the Q&A that the tattoo which has the most meaning to her was ‘my wings,’ while sharing a snap of her hands doing a peace sign.
Two months after Liam’s death, Kate unveiled a new angel wings tattoo in what appeared to be a tribute to her boyfriend.
Earlier in the day, Kate shared a snap of a note which she believes the late singer sent her as a message from above.
The small note showed a drawing of a crown with the numbers ‘444’ written inside.
She penned: ‘Sign for today. [I] was cleaning out my purses and found this note at the bottom of one.’
Kate previously revealed that hers and Liam’s angel number 444- meaning when she sees the number while out and about, it’s a sign of ‘protection, encouragement and support’.
After his death, she referenced the angel numbers as she revealed they had been planning to marry in the weeks leading up to his pᴀssing.
She wrote: ‘A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together.

‘I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said, “Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444.”
‘Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel.
‘I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go. Forever yours, Katelyn 444.’
In the past few weeks, Kate has shared previously unseen pH๏τos of Liam on Instagram and posted a cherished note from him.
She also filmed a video as she looked through her possessions from around the time of Liam’s death.
In one of her latest TikTok video, she visited Ritual Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge in Charleston, South Carolina where she met Liam for the first time.
Kate explained: ‘I am currently in Charleston, North Carolina and for those who may not know this is the city that I used to live in and the city that I met Liam in.
‘I am at the restaurant that I met Liam at when I was a server and this is my first time back here.
Angels have been symbolic for Kate since Liam’s pᴀssing, particularly the number 444, which she has since got tattooed on her hand (pictured December 2022)
‘I told myself I’m going to let this be a beautiful moment that brings me peace rather than sadness. I feel like that is what Liam would want me to do.’

Walking over to the booth where he was sitting when they met, Kate showed that her friends had decorated the table.
She continued: ‘My friends thought it would be a good idea to get some McDonald’s which was Liam’s favourite food.
‘This pH๏τo is Liam sitting right here in this both wearing Ritual merch.’
Kate and her friends then headed out on to the rooftop to continue to honour Liam’s memory.
‘We used to love this thing called flying wish paper and you write a wish on it, then light it up and it’s supposed to make your wishes come true. So we are going to do this today,’ she said while lighting the paper.
While some of Liam’s fans were happy others were angry that she continues to reference him while his parents grieve.
Sharing their thoughts in the comments, they wrote: ‘You need to stop using Liam’s name for clout. You left him there. You’re so fake. There is a reason why his family wants nothing to do with you’;

Others however found comfort in the clip, noticing how the clouds in the background looked like one of Liam’s tattoos.
They added: ‘Look at the sky the clouds are like his arrow tattoo’; ‘Around minute 1:00 there’s arrows in the sky behind you Kate he’s always with you’;
‘The clouds is the background also kinda looking like the arrows on his arm, he’s definitely there with you and you captured it’;
‘Please don’t stop sharing your healing journey. It’s really bringing so many people comfort. I’m so sorry people are seeing you in such a light.’
