Good Morning Britain viewers have ‘switched off’ after a presenter shake-up so infuriating it ‘sent their blood pressure soaring’.
Susanna Reid, 54, who usually presents the ITV show alongside Ed Balls, 58, Richard Madeley, 68, and Kate Garraway, 57, Monday to Wednesday, with alternative Thursdays, has taken some time off.
This means that the programme has been hosted by a step-in host – and this shake-up will be in place for the rest of the week.
Monday and Tuesday’s instalment has been presented by Richard and Charlotte Hawkins, 49.
Marverine Cole – who does appear on GMB from time to time – has also presented segments on the morning news show.
And Kate Garraway has stepped in for Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show Lorraine, which airs weekdays 9am to 10am, since the start of the week.

The different team this week has left many flock to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.
One wrote on the social media platform: ‘Turn on #GMB see who is presenting and turn off. Absolute s*** show. Which is why I decided to stop watching #GMB Not good for my blood pressure.’
‘Good god Richard’s back with Charlotte, time to switch off.’
‘Not this week thanks. Can’t watch Madeley.’
Richard has been a relief presenter on Good Morning Britain since 2017, meanwhile Charlotte has been part of the team since 2014.
Meanwhile Marvine has been on GMB for the past three years.
On April 3 it was revealed that Susanna would be replaced on the show after announcing an extended break.
At the end of the episode, her co-star Ed Balls, 58, said: ‘And Susanna, we’ll see you in a couple of weeks time…’

Susanna replied: ‘See you in a coupe of weeks, I’m going to go and spend some time off. I will be back do not fear.
‘Good Morning Britain is back of course, from six, now it’s time to go to Lorraine.’
It comes after Susanna revealed that she went clubbing in Ibiza with her three sons last summer and ‘properly partied’ – but admitted she’s nervous for them to flee the nest.
The journalist, 54, revealed that she headed to the party island with her grown-up sons Sam, 22, Finn, 21, and 19-year-old Jack.
In a new interview with Woman&Home, she admitted: ‘I’m not really a pub-goer, but I go clubbing.
I went clubbing with them during the day and had the most amazing time. I stopped drinking in 2018 and I’m now predominantly teetotal.
‘I have a Buck’s Fizz on Christmas Day, I had half a glᴀss of champagne on my mum’s birthday and I have a drink once every couple of months – including a couple in Ibiza.
‘But I don’t have pints at the pub like I did in my 20s.’
She added: ‘Being virtually teetotal hasn’t damaged my social life.
‘In any case, in Ibiza, music is your drug!’
She joked: ‘My God, the amount of time I’ll have when the boys leave home. I’m going to have to go to Ibiza on my own.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
