Gavin Rossdale posed with his glamorous girlfriend Xhoana Xheneti on Instagram on Tuesday and she is a ᴅᴇᴀᴅ ringer for his ex-wife Gwen Stefani.

The couple looked as loved up as ever in the cute snap at a restaurant in Indian Wells, California.

Bush lead singer Gavin, 59, cut a dashing figure in a black cardigan over a white t-shirt teaming it with a pair of black trousers and some black trainers with a white platform.

Xhoana, 36, meanwhile, wore a black and white striped figure-hugging midi dress  from Jean Paul Gaultier worth £770 with long black leather gloves and black and tan pointy toe heels.

She completed the outfit by toting a H๏τ pink leather handbag with a gold chain and let her platinum blonde hair loose, accentuating her looks with some red lipstick. 

The singer, known professionally as XHOANA X, led an uncanny resemblance to Gwen with her long locks, flawless complexion, chiselled cheekbones and edgy style.

Gavin captioned the post, ‘Desert nights’, and added a black love heart.

Fans were quick to remark on Xhoana’s similarity to Gavin’s ex-wife, commenting: ‘ Gwen?’; ‘She’s perfectly Aware of Gwen’s style….soooo why is she doing this lmao fishing’;

‘wow she’s a young clone of Gwen, when one has a type of woman or has not forgotten ex’; ‘Omg she really does try to look like Gwen’; ‘A copy of Gwen…’ 

His model daughter Daisy Lowe, 36, who he shares with fashion designer Pearl Lowe, liked the cute snap on social media. 

The British musician split from US pop star Gwen – with whom he shares three sons, Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 11 – in 2016 after 14 years of marriage.

At the time of their divorce, she accused Gavin of adultery and reports swirled afterwards that he had had a three-year affair with Mindy Mann who was their family nanny. 

Gwen has since remarried to country music star Blake Shelton.

Last month, Gavin revealed 30 Rock icon Jack McBrayer helped him ‘raise’ his kids after his divorce.

Speaking on an episode of Dinner’s on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the singer also remembered his marriage fondly.

Reflecting on the house they had in Los Angeles, he said: ‘It was such an exciting time. I was there for a number of years when we were just together, when we got married, we had our first kid there.

Reports swirled afterwards that he had had a three-year affair with Mindy Mann (pictured, centre) who was their family nanny 

‘Gwen did a beautiful job on the nursery. That house has fantastic memories. We used to have amazing new year’s eve parties every year. We never knew what to do, so it was easier to make the party come to us. Fantastic times.

‘That was right at the height of everything really fun work-wise, it was really a great time for us. So I have a great memory of that house. Beautiful time.’

Speaking on the support he got from pal Jack at that time he added: ‘What’s so sweet about Jack is since I got divorced and was raising the kids on my own, he’s come to every Christmas and Thanksgiving that I do with my kids.

‘The last Thanksgiving, he sent me – and I posted it on my Instagram a little while ago – he sent me an invoice. For his presence!’

‘Jack is the best. He’s wonderful. He’s a really good friend of mine.’

He added that Jack, who starred in the hit US comedy series 30 Rock alongside Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, has also been helping him break into acting.

However, in an interview last year, he candidly discussed his ‘shame’ over the separation.

‘I never thought I’d ever get divorced, so there’s a simple shame in my life,’ the rockstar began.

The two (pictured, in November) chatted back and forth for a bit, but things were ‘platonic’. At one point, Gavin unfollowed her on social media

‘I feel bad for my kids,’ he continued. ‘I wish I could have found a way to not have that in their lives. It wasn’t fun for me to come from a broken home.’

He added: ‘It can be quite debilitating for kids. The overriding thing is you don’t want to let your kids down.’

Gwen has previously said of their divorce: ‘When that happened, I had to literally start over again. It was a reset of my life.’

In a 2016 Harper’s Bazaar interview she also called the lead-up to their divorce as ‘months of torture’.

She explained that she had a feeling that Gavin was hiding things from her, alluding to his alleged affair with their former nanny.

Gwen said: ‘It was the beginning of hell. Like six, seven, eight months of torture, trying to figure out this big secret.

‘It was so insane because not only did my family break up, but then my kids are taken away like half the time, so that was really like: “What?! What did I do?”‘

Gavin met Xhoana in 2023 after reaching out to her on social media to tell her he liked her music.

‘I did do kind of the DM slide saying, “I like your music,” which I do…,’ he said after they went Instagram official last year. 

‘She’s super cool. She grew up in the Bronx, so she’s like… it took a minute, you know what I mean. It’s kind of sweet because I didn’t know if she had a boyfriend. 

‘I was texting her about music and this and that and just leaving it on that and then I wasn’t looking to get a girlfriend at that point. But she was very pretty.’

The two chatted back and forth for a bit, but things were ‘platonic’. At one point, Gavin unfollowed her on social media. 

‘I made one comment about her looking a certain way,’ he recalled at the time. ‘I think she sent some kind of like millennium emoji. … And I was like, “oh my god” … So, I unfollowed, and then I thought I got it all wrong. 

‘I was like, “I abandoned her”. I was like, “oh my god, she’s got a boyfriend”. I said something wrong. I was inappropriate. So I got that. I got out of Dodge and didn’t connect with her for another two months.’ 

From there, however, the two went on a few dates and really hit it off. 

‘It’s been organic and nice,’ Gavin said.
