Scarlett Johansson put on a brave face as she stepped out in NYC on Monday evening, days after her alleged stalker was arrested for allegedly threatening to bomb Saturday Night Live’s studios.

The 40-year-old donned an oversize gray suit featuring a an open blazer paired with the matching vest and high-waisted trousers.

She paired the chic set with a pair of maroon, patent leather boots with a chunky platform and a taupe, leather shoulder bag.

For her night out, the Marvel star slicked back her blonde hair into a polished, тιԍнт bun.

She also sported a shiny sparkling diamond band on her ring finger and completed her look with a pair of statement stud earrings with mᴀssive gemstones as well as layers of dainty necklaces. 

It marked the first time Scarlett had been seen since her stalker’s arrest. He allegedly threatened to bomb SNL studios, which is also her husband Colin Jost’s workplace.

She was pictured sticking closely to her bodyguard.

Johansson has been married to Jost since October 2020. Jost works on the long-running sketch comedy show as the co-host of Weekend Update at the studios where SNL is taped.

Last week, Michael Joseph Branham, 48— who has a large heart tattoo on his chest with Johansson’s name written across it — was arrested after he allegedly texted his university where he’s enrolled: ‘THE NEXT TIME YOU HERE [sic] FROM ME I WILL BE ON CNN FOR EXPLODING A BOMB IN SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE AUDIENCE,’ the criminal complaint, viewed by the New York Post, said.

NBC Universal and 30 Rock – where the show is filmed – reported the message to the NYPD, police sources told The Post. 

He was arrested last Wednesday for allegedly making the threat, which prosecutors claimed was ‘based off a personal obsession’ with Scarlett.  

The following day, he was arraigned on felony charges which consisted of false reporting of an incident and making a threat of mᴀss harm. 

His attorney argued that his $100,000 bail or $300,000 bond bail should be lower, alleging that he had been scammed by people posing as Johansson and were ‘setting him up.’ 

Johansson had previously tried to get a restraining order against Braham after he showed up to her home in November 2023 and claimed to have fathered one of her children.

He had also allegedly left a number of letters and children’s toys outside Johansson’s mansion. The notes he is said to have left also saw the alleged stalker express his wish to meet Cosmo and spend time with him as his father.

The actress was denied the restraining order after she was unable to serve Brahman the papers.

Branham, who has four warrants in Kentucky, has posted about the Lucy actress on his social media pages several times.

Meanwhile, Johansson is preparing for the upcoming release of her new film — The Phoenician Scheme, an espionage black comedy movie written and directed by Wes Anderson from a story he wrote with Roman Coppola.

In the forthcoming movie, which is set for release in May, she is a part of an all-star cast including Mia Threapleton, Bill Murray, Benicio del Toro, Tom Hanks, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Cera, Willem Dafoe and many more. 

She also recently attended CinemaCon in Las Vegas to promote her new action film Jurᴀssic World Rebirth after unveiling the first trailer.

At the convention, she took the stage with her co-star Mahershala Ali and director Gareth Edwards to unveil the latest installment in the film franchise. 

And gushing about the new movie, she said that working on it fulfilled a ‘lifelong dream’ of hers she has had ‘for the last 15 years.’ 

The sci-fi flick is scheduled to hit theaters in July.
