A Coronation Street spoiler has accidentally leaked online two months before airing – and it’s set to change the life of a Weatherfield legend forever.
Eagle-eyed visitors on the ITV studio tour spotted a ‘For Sale’ sign outside No. 6 Coronation Street, the long-time home of the Nazir family.
A fan reportedly snapped a picture of the sign and shared it online, inadvertently leaking a huge spoiler before the episodes have even aired.
The house, which has been in the Nazir family since 2013, is currently home to Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), who has been living there alone since the recent departure of her grandmother Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King).
Now, it seems Alya is making a big decision about her future – but she won’t be leaving Weatherfield.
A Corrie insider told The Sun: ‘Alya Nazir puts it up for sale for Yasmeen – but Alya is not moving away from the street or Weatherfield.’
A Coronation Street spoiler has accidentally leaked online two months before airing – and it’s set to change the life of Weatherfield legend Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) forever
Eagle-eyed visitors on the ITV studio tour spotted a ‘For Sale’ sign outside No. 6 Coronation Street, the long-time home of the Nazir family, shortly after Alya bid an emotional farewell to her grandmother Yasmeen (Shelley King)
This shock twist confirms that Yasmeen’s departure is permanent, and Alya is choosing to move on.
Fans had speculated whether her boyfriend, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), might move in, but with the house now on the market, that theory has been debunked.
Instead, some fans believe the house could be snapped up by Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), who may move in together with Lisa’s daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) and Carla’s nephew Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).
With Corrie filming eight to ten weeks in advance, this accidental leak is a major spoiler. But who will take over No. 6?
MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.
Alya bid an emotional farewell to her grandmother Yasmeen in scenes that aired last month.
Actress Shelley King, 69, joined the ITV soap in 2014 and was notably at the centre of a high-profile coercive control storyline.
In her final scenes, Yasmeen departed Weatherfield for a new job in London.

Since her exit, Alya has been partaking in Ramadan and supporting her friend DeeDee.
She’s also landed a new business partner in Speed Daal, after Yasmeen sold her shares in the restaurant to Leanne Battersby before heading to London.
It isn’t the only house to come up for sale in recent weeks on Coronation Street.
Just before the end of 2024, Yasmeen’s neighbour, Gail Platt, listed her iconic house for sale as she departed Weatherfield after 50 years.
There were several potential buyers, with Carla taking a keen interest. However, it was later ravaged by a huge fire caused by Max Turner, which burned the property to the ground.
It comes as Coronation Street has been cancelled and pulled from screens today in a major schedule shake-up.
Soap fans have been hit by several changes this year already and Weatherfield lovers are about to be disappointed again.
The popular drama won’t be airing in its usual slot today (Friday) and will instead be booted out by the UEFA Women’s Nations League game, England vs Belgium.

Coronation Street usually airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for one hour from 8pm.
Fans have been compensated however, and were treated to an hour-long episode on Thursday night to make up for the missing instalment.
It isn’t the first time the soaps have been disrupted by schedule shifts.
On February 28, Coronation Street was moved again because of an FA Cup game between Aston Villa and Cardiff City.
Instead, the episode was shown on the Thursday to make up for the missing trip to the cobbles.
And on February 7, the soap was moved from the Friday night slot to make room for a Manchester United vs Leicester City game as part of the FA Cup.
The match kicked off at 7:30pm after Emmerdale wrapped up and the schedule change meant that fans tuned in on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday instead.
