70s soap icon and Emmy winner looks unrecognizable on low-key shopping trip

A 70s soap icon and Daytime Emmy winner looked unrecognizable as she stepped out in LA recently.

The 81-year-old acting veteran donned a leopard print head wrap and aviators as she went shopping.

The mysterious star – who is a record holder due to her multi-decade long stint on a iconic soap opera – finished off her casual look with a teal-colored quilted jacket over a matching turtleneck.

She won her first and only Daytime Emmy Award in 1979 for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series.

She was also married to another famed soap star from 1980-1982.

So can you guess who she is?

It’s Suzanne Rogers! Suzanne has made history as the longest-running actor in any American soap opera for portraying the character Maggie Horton Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives for 52 years – beginning in 1973.

In 1984, the Virginia-born redhead was diagnosed with the rare muscle disease myasthenia gravis, greatly impacting how much she could work, but she’s reportedly in remission now.

Maggie started out as a disabled woman that married a lawyer, became a widow, struggled with alcoholism, owned two restaurants, and became the CEO of тιтan.

‘My character has grown,’ Suzanne explained via Instagram last year.

‘She knows who she is now. And she’s not relying on anyone to make her whole. She is who she is, and I think that’s important for all of us.’

Rogers also appeared in episodes of Knight Rider; Little House on the Prairie; Quincy, M.E.; and Love, American Style.

The former Rockette got her start at Radio City Music Hall as well as numerous Broadway productions.

Suzanne never had children, but she was married to Another World star Sam Groom between 1980-1982.
