He’s best known as the frontman of his iconic BBC show, with decades of business knowhow under his belt.
But following Thursday’s episode of The Apprentice, viewers were quick to spot that Lord Alan Sugar appeared to be focused on joining a wholly different show.
The latest episode of the BBC show saw the eight remaining candidates face the legendary TV Shopping Channel tasks, which sees them attempt to flog a variety of products to viewers.
It was no surprise that some viewers were left cringing by candidates’ attempts to sell items, ranging from an air fryer to a kayak, with Max England eventually fired after his team, Parallel lost out in the task.
And in a surprise addition to this series, as the candidates went live on air, viewers saw Lord Sugar also tuning in from his mansion, alongside his grandson Joe.
Offering his own commentary on candidates’ mixed attempts to sell the products, fans were quick to claim he was auditioning for the Channel 4 show Gogglebox.
