Jamie Laing has jetted off on a luxury sun-soaked holiday with his wife Sophie Habboo following his brutal Ultra Marathon last week.

The BBC Radio 1 presenter, 36, spent five days running from London to Salford and crossed the finish line on Friday, raising a whopping £2,053,835 for Comic Relief.

Now Jamie, who has well and truly earned a getaway, shared a series of Instagram snaps on Thursday as he headed to the beach at an unknown location.

The TV personality was seen walking along the beach to a series of sun loungers wearing a pair of pink swimming shorts which he teamed with an oversized white T-shirt.

He later shared a stunning snap of wife Sophie beaming as the pair arrived for a lavish dinner on the beach.

Sophie showed off her amazing figure in an off the shoulder white crochet jumpsuit and kept comfortable in a pair of sandals.

Jamie simply penned: ‘My [world emoji, red heart emoji]’

Sophie also shared a sweet selfie of the couple riding a golf cart.

It comes days after Jamie treated fans to yet another foot picture as he took to Instagram with an update on his injuries following his brutal 150mile Ultra Marathon challenge.

After sharing a swollen snap of his feet over the weekend, luckily Jamie is now on the road to recovery as he reported to his 1.5million followers that the swelling of his feet is slowly going down.

Snapping a close up picture of them showing his blackened toenail he wrote: ‘Starting to look better team!!!’

Days earlier, Jamie took to his Instagram Stories with a more gruesome snap of his ‘battered’ feet which were swollen and one toe nail almost falling off.

Comparing them to the oversized trotters of Hobbits from Lord Of The Rings he wrote: ‘My feet are so swollen!!! They’re battered and my toe nail is about to fall off’.

‘They look a little bit like hobbit feet. Ones thing for sure they aren’t looking pretty’.

Jamie also revealed a badly ‘chafed penis’ was just one of the injuries he’d suffered during the challenge.

In his video diary from the run, which featured in the latest episode of his and wife Sophie Habboo’s NewlyWeds podcast, Jamie revealed he’d been forced to ‘Vaseline up’ after hurting his manhood as well as his feet.

He said: ‘My feet hurt, I’ve got blisters on my feet one of my toe nails has gone black which is not a pretty sight.

‘I had chafing on the worst part you can have chafing, on my penis there I said it, so I had to Vaseline that up’.

Following the run, he appeared on Comic Relief’s live show as he hobbled onto the stage and told hosts Alison Hammond and Joel Dommett that his ‘body was bad’ and joked: ‘I should have just taken the train here.’

Wife Sophie, 30, said Jamie was her ‘hero’ in a gushing tribute after she watched him cross the finish line.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday Sophie wrote: ‘My hero, that I now get to share with the world.

‘Your bravery, honesty, vulnerability and kindness are all things I see in you everyday but now everyone else gets to see that side of you too and I couldn’t be more proud.

‘Despite you telling me every day that you couldn’t do it, and despite every part of me wanting to tell you to stop, I knew you would complete it because once you put your mind to something you don’t give up, and you didn’t give up.

‘Well, in your own words you have just proven that ‘you are stronger than you think, you are braver than you are and you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it,’ I love you so much and am forever proud of you ‘.

Jamie appeared during the live telethon he hobbled onto the stage and told hosts Alison Hammond and Joel Dommett that his ‘body was bad’ following the run and joked: ‘I should have just taken the train here.’

He went on: ‘It was a long way but it was an incredible journey. One of my big things was about mental health, that money is going to save lives and help people and I am beyond proud.’

Jamie previously opened up about his battle with anxiety and panic attacks during an recent appearance on Good Morning Britain.

Said: ‘[With panic attacks] You feel like you’re going to die. I thought I was having a heart attack, I hid anxiety for many years, I had the typical thing at panic attack at 20 years old, didn’t know what it was and took myself to hospital and then just hid it for many years’.

He was met by cheering crowds as well as fellow Radio 1 hosts Greg James, Vick Hope and Jeremiah Asiamah who announced the eye-popping amount he’d raised.

Jamie gushed: ‘At one point I thought I was down and out. Mentally I was gone, physically I was broken. I didn’t have anything left in me. Something pulled me out.

Before adding: ‘The last kilometre was the most euphoric thing I’ve ever had.’

The final day of his five day challenge saw Jamie joined for a stretch by Greg, who looked rather fetching in a wedding dress and garter.

Jamie struggled to hold back the tears as he embraced Toby, who played a pivotal role in the TV star’s journey towards a healthier atтιтude toward anxiety and mental health – encouraging him to get out and run as a way to cope.

Reacting to his pal, Jamie sobbed: ‘My friend Toby was the best man at my wedding. He was the guy I phoned up when I was in a bad space. I hadn’t told anybody I was feeling bad. He said, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll get through it together’.’

‘Toby is the one who was there with me, was the one I spoke to and he’s here today with me. So it means so much.’

Toby responded: ‘I honestly have no idea what to say. From me to you Jamie, from the moment you stepped into my life 17 years ago, you’ve made it better. You are a great friend, you’re an inspiration to everyone…

‘I’ve been lucky to know that all this time, but you are one of a kind. Thank you for having me as a part of this. I’m in awe of you, I love you mate.’
