Nick Knowles has posted an ‘emotional’ update about the future of DIY SOS.
The television series, hosted by the 62-year-old, has been on our screens on BBC One since 1999.
Over the past 26 years there has been 243 episodes over 32 series, and the cast are currently filming the upcoming season.
Nick took to X on Monday, formerly known as Twitter, to share a selfie on set with some of his co-stars, including Gabrielle Blackman, Chris Frediani, Ian Hodgkinson and Billy Byrne.
The presenter wrote: ‘Just to let you all know we are in the middle of filming a brand new series of @DIYSOS.
’We have already brought communities together to help families in need across the country.

‘It’s going to be a cracking new series. I’ll let you know when it will be on your screens.’
Many rushed to reply to the post to share the love, but one person pointed out that some people missing from the snap.
They said: ‘Will enjoy it I’m sure but I really do miss Mark and Jules from the line up.’
The fan is talking about carpenter Mark Millar and builder Julian Perryman.
Meanwhile another said: ‘Fantastic team helping others and support UK and beyond communities.’
A third chimed in: ‘Good to see you all back together.’
‘Good one Nick!, a fourth added.
A fifth tweeted: ‘I was just thinking we hadn’t seen you in the TV lately. Well done to everyone involved. It’s a wonderful way to bring communities together to help those in dire need.’

Nick also shared a post on his Instagram.
He wrote: ‘Just to let you know we are about a third of the way thru filming a brand new series of @bbcdiysos around the UK.
‘Already we have built for some wonderful families in great communities with the help of an army of generous trades, suppliers and volunteers.
‘There’s old faces (especially mine) and new and a huge rise in community spirit everywhere.
‘Keep an eye out for us coming to your area and news on when the series will be broadcast.
‘I can tell you now though – it’s going to be epic and emotional.’
Another wrote in the comments section: ‘That’s great news, but where’s Jules?’
One questioned: ‘Where’s Jules and Mark?’, while another said: ‘No Jules?’
It’s not the first time that Julian aka Jules has been missing from the show.
He didn’t appear in the Strictly special of the BBC programme back in August 2023.
