He famously sang that he was ‘gonna stick it in the goal’ in his number one hit Rock DJ.
But while out playing football with his children lately, Robbie Williams has had to tackle a rather unpleasant issue plaguing his middle age.
The Angels singer, 51 – whose monkey-themed biopic Better Man was nominated for a BAFTA this year – told the Daily Star about how he suffers unexpected leaks when trying to blast the ball into the back of the net.
‘I took my boys across the park with a football,’ he said.
‘Every time I kicked the ball with a ferocity that we’ll call “medium” strength, a bit of wee came out.’
Robbie also revealed his pal Ricky Martin had sent him a crystal-healing rug in the post recently and that the unconventional gift is right up his street.

He said: ‘So far, I’ve laid on it a couple of times and I feel great. I’m gonna give it more of a bash. Crystals and red lights are my thing, and so is Ricky.’
The former Take That star, who set up Soccer Aid in 2006, recently explained he avoided smiling for years because he was ashamed of the state of his teeth.
Robbie appeared on Australia’s The Project last month and said that the secret to looking young is his fresh set of pearly whites.
‘My secret is new teeth. I smile down. I smirk smile. But I smirk smile because I had yellow nubs,’ he explained.
‘Yellowed because of amphetamines and raver’s abuse. So I didn’t open my mouth at all. And it led to this sort of smirk-y thing.’
‘Now I’m like this,’ Robbie added, flashing a toothy grin.
The Millennium hitmaker’s recent trips to the local football pitch will have come as welcome respite from an ongoing feud with his neighbour, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.
Robbie finally got his way last week, however, after removing a huge tree in his garden.

Despite one anonymous objection, tree surgeons chopped down the ‘fungus-infested’ Norway maple at his £17.5million home in Holland Park, west London.
The crooner sought permission from Kensington and Chelsea Council to get rid of the maple, which his tree surgeon, Michael Goatly, said was afflicted with honey fungus.
However, an objection stated: ‘There is no explanation as to why this tree needs to be felled.’
The tree was very close to the singer’s boundary wall with the turretted gothic home owned by Jimmy, 81, who has complained in the past that Robbie’s building work risked damaging his property.
The pair became locked in a property dispute in 2014.
Jimmy objected to Robbie’s renovation plans, saying construction vibrations could cause ‘catastrophic damage’ to his Grade I-listed house.
The ex-Take That member was granted permission, but the feud escalated when he accused Jimmy of being ‘mentally ill’ for continuing to complain – a comment he apologised for.
Earlier this month, BRITs viewers were left stunned after Robbie’s iconic monkey appeared to ‘snort drugs’ in a live comedy skit during the ceremony.

The moment unfolded as host Jack Whitehall, 36, made a joke about the singer’s past battles with substance abuse while introducing Myles Smith’s performance.
The comedian said how the hitmaker would often send his monkey mascot to events he preferred to avoid, with the person in the costume mimicking actions like drinking champagne and even pretending to use drugs.
He said: ‘Oh no, sorry, that’s the monkey from Better Man. I had heard Robbie has been sending the monkey to quite a lot of events he can’t be a***d with.
‘Last week it did Loose Women, Jonathan Wilkes’ birthday and date night with Ayda [Field]. I’ve also heard, unfortunately, that monkey has gone off the rails a bit since it got famous.’
Taking it one step further, Jack continued: ‘It was chucked off the ITV2 show earlier for snorting a line of PG Tips and chimping Ella Henderson.
‘And I don’t even want to talk about the videos I saw of it on that night out with David Coote,’ he added of the referee’s cocaine scandal.
