He’s reportedly on the brink of launching his music career as he gets ready to release a debut single about wanting to be John Lennon.

And it seems Cruz Beckham is already getting bookings, kicking off his life on tour by providing the soundtrack to his family dinner on Thursday.

His mother Victoria, 50, posted a clip to her Instagram story of the aspiring musician, 20, singing the Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers hit Islands In The Stream while father David, 49, cooked up a storm in the background.

Wearing a navy sweater with thin vertical cream stripes, Cruz added black tracksuit bottoms and sported a tan cadet cap – not dissimilar to the one his hero John wore while performing the album Help – backwards as he crooned away.

Meanwhile David seasoned the meat on the hob as he wore a white T-shirt with some grey sweatpants and sang along to the chorus of the song. 

Victoria, out of sH๏τ but also heard contributing some vocals, captioned the post: ‘Casual…Dinner with the Beckhams.’

Cruz’s latest performance comes after he teased a song about wanting to be John Lennon, as he showcased his upcoming music on Instagram on Wednesday.

The youngest son of Victoria and David Beckham has been joining forces with British Indie legends as he looks to make waves in the music world.

The singer and his band were filmed jamming on stage when Cruz approached the mic and sang: ‘I wanna be John Lennon’.

The clip abruptly ended there with no further lyrics sung, though the teen offered further snippets of the instrumentals from the tune in addition to other pictures.

The budding musician kickstarted his career when he was just 11 years old and the Beckham family are said to have spent a small ‘fortune’ to help him create his sound with top songwriters.

And now David and Victoria’s third son has become mates with Kooks frontman, Luke Pritchard, according to the Sun.

Luke told how he is eager to help him ‘navigate’ his future career in music.

He told the publication: ‘We started writing songs together and we’ve become mates.

‘I’d just love to help him navigate [a career in music]. He’s naturally going to come under criticism because of who his parents are – he’s aware of that.’

Cruz reportedly signed with the top music management company C3, who worked with US indie group The Strokes, as well as Thirty Seconds To Mars.

It’s also reported that Cruz has parted ways with TaP Music Management, which looked after pop acts including Dua Lipa to focus on a ‘more guitar-led organic sound.’

A source told The Sun: ‘His move from TaP was amicable but he’s signed with C3 who manage rock bands like Thirty Seconds to Mars and Modest Mouse.

‘They are more in line with where his music is evolving.

‘Playing live is going to be a big part of the roll-out of his music and Cruz and his new team want to be sure it’s perfect before he launches.’

In February it was reported that Cruz had been working with writer Ed Frewett, who has four No1 singles already.

Last week David spent some quality time with Cruz as they hit the ski slopes in British Columbia, the westernmost province of Canada.

The footballing legend bundled up in a mint green ski jacket and a black helmet as he made the most of the powdered slopes.

Documenting their action-packed trip on Instagram, the father and son duo appeared to be having the best time while showing off their skills.

As the two posed for a sweet selfie together, David captioned one image: ‘Fun times with my boy in the powder of British Columbia.’

Another saw the sportsman grinning for the camera while his budding musician son was seen sprawled out on the snow while taking a break from snowboarding.

While David, who also opted to snowboard, noted that it would be ‘fun getting down’ as he prepared to tackle another slope.

It certainly seemed to be a bonding trip for the two of them as their was no sign of David’s other children or wife Victoria. 

Just days earlier, Victoria was supported by her husband David and kids Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, as they all proudly watched from the front row at her show the previous night.

However, her eldest son Brooklyn, 26, did not appear to be in attendance as he wasn’t seen arriving with the rest of the Beckham clan.

Victoria debuted her Fall/Winter 2025-2026 women’s ready-to-wear collection, which included gowns featuring daring sheer panels over the bodice as she embraced the ɴuᴅᴇ fashion trend.
