The long-awaited first trailer for Celebrity Big Brother 2025 has been released, amid swirling rumours about this year’s lineup.

Hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, the ITV series is set to return to screens next month, with a brand new crop of stars moving into the famous house.

The trailer sees the return of the iconic guinea pigs that took centre stage in promoting the civilian series last year, but this year they’ve been given a starry twist.

Last year, Celebrity Big Brother made its return to UK television with an explosive series, with David Potts going onto be crowned series champion.

Now, a new batch of VIPs are preparing to embark on the original social experiment, taking up residence in the Big Brother house, which has moved to a brand-new location for the forthcoming instalment.

Set to be another unmissable series, viewers can expect tense tasks, nail-biting nominations and gripping gossip as an array of famous faces spill the tea on their life in the spotlight.

This year’s lineup will also be moving into a brand new house, after it was reported that the iconic venue will be relocating for this upcoming series.

Rumours have been swirling about the names that could be heading into the famous house, with stars including Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd, TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise and Love Island’s Chris Hughes among those reported to be taking part.

However, while anticipation has been building for the new series, fans were recently left fuming after it emerged that it would be hit by a huge scheduling shake-up.

The much-anticipated new run is set to kick off next month, with names including Love Island’s Chris Hughes, Olympian Daley Thompson and Corrie star Jack P Shepherd among those rumoured to be heading into the house.

While fans hoped to tune into each episode in the primetime slot of 9pm, it’s been revealed that the show will be airing at the later time of 10pm on Sundays.

This is for ITV to maintain the earlier time of 8-10pm as a prime spot for new dramas.

The move also means that the CBB aftershow Late and Live will not be broadcast until 11pm on Sunday nights.

The news sparked fury from die-hard fans of the show, already upset that the upcoming celebrity edition will be on screen for less than three weeks.

It comes after it was reported that Danny Jones’ wife Georgia turned down the opportunity to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Georgia, 38, reportedly turned down a whopping six-figure offer from ITV, as she would rather keep her personal life off screen and instead focus on her son Cooper, seven.

According to the publication, Georgia was approached after the BRITs and in wake of the scandal, but despite talks about the possiiblity going ahead, nothing was finalised.

The source added that she will be avoiding interviews and instead wants to lay low and work out her relationship behind closed doors.
