She is known for her incredibly toned physique and dedicated health regime.
However Davina McCall has insisted she is not an exercise addict as she revealed how many hours a week she really spends working out.
The presenter, 57, who has recently been recovering after her major brain surgery in November, confessed that people always ask her partner Michael what it’s like dating someone who is an ‘exercise addict’.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Davina explained she only actually works out for half an hour four times a week as she said: ‘People are like, “What? Oh, we thought you were doing two hours, five days a week!” It’s because I post snippets of my half-hour workouts and everyone thinks I’m doing it all the time.’
Admitting she used to spend more time in the gym, Davina added: ‘I worked out for longer in my 30s because I didn’t realise I could get the same results while doing less.
‘If you work out efficiently for half an hour, you’ll get as much as from a sloppy 45 minutes to an hour. I’m always time poor: three kids, work, meetings, there’s always stuff to do, and I don’t have an hour and a half or two hours to work out every day.’
