Gal Gadot revealed more details about the ‘major’ brain clot she suffered during her fourth pregnancy.
While appearing on Tuesday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the Snow White star, 39, shared that the clot left her unable to ‘hear or see’ when she was eight months pregnant.
‘I had mᴀssive headaches that completely put me down,’ she shared. ‘I was in bed and I couldn’t hear or see anything,’ the actress recalled, stating that she would lay in bed all day with a H๏τ bottle on her head.
The Israeli beauty — whose Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony was disrupted by warring Gaza protestors — said doctors and neurologists told her she was simply having a ‘nasty migraine’ despite her symptoms getting worse.
After getting advice from her mom to request an MRI, even though none of her doctors had recommended one, she was ‘rushed’ to the hospital, where doctors told her that she had a ‘major brain clot.’
‘If I had gone through a spontaneous delivery, I wouldn’t have been here,’ she stated, sharing she actually had three clots.

‘And again, had I known better, they could have just put me on blood thinners and done.’

She received a round of applause as she told the crowd to ‘always advocate for your health. Always. Listen to yourself, advocate for your health. If anything, you just over-checked yourself, right? That’s OK.’
The star underwent a thrombectomy – a procedure to remove a blood clot from a blood vessel.
She said that while in the hospital her delivery happened ‘within two hours’ after she received the diagnosis.
In March 2024, she announced that she had given birth to her fourth baby girl, named Ori.
The Wonder Woman star also shares Alma, 13, Maya, 7, and Daniella, 3 with her husband Jaron Varsano, 50.
‘My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through,’ she captioned a picture of her holding her daughter in the hospital.
At the time she did not share her scary health ordeal.

But in December she revealed what happened via Instagram, writing, ‘In February, during my eighth month of pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a mᴀssive blood clot in my brain.’
‘For weeks, I had endured excruciating headaches that confined me to bed, until I finally underwent an MRI that revealed the terrifying truth. In one moment, my family and I were faced with how fragile life can be. It was a stark reminder of how quickly everything can change, and in the midst of a difficult year, all I wanted was to hold on and live.’
She went on: ‘We rushed to the hospital, and within hours, I underwent emergency surgery. My daughter, Ori, was born during that moment of uncertainty and fear. Her name, meaning “my light,” wasn’t chosen by chance.’
‘Before the surgery, I told Jaron that when our daughter arrived, she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel. Thanks to an extraordinary team of doctors at @cedarssinai and weeks of dedicated care, I made it through and began the road to recovery. Today, I am fully healed and filled with graтιтude for the life I’ve been given back.’
Gal added: ‘The journey has taught me so much. First, it’s vital to listen to our bodies and trust what it’s telling us. Pain, discomfort, or even subtle changes often carry deeper meaning, and being attuned to your body can be life saving.’
‘Second, awareness matters. I had no idea that 3 in 100,000 pregnant women in the 30s+ age group are diagnosed with CVT(develop a blood clot in the brain). It’s so important to identify early because it’s treatable.’
She wrapped up her caption, writing, ‘While rare, it’s a possibility, and knowing it exists is the first step to addressing it. Sharing this is not meant to frighten anyone but to empower. If even one person feels compelled to take action for their health because of this story, it will have been worth sharing.’
