The Only Murders in the Building star contended she now plans to turn down work, especially if it takes her away from her family or if she is ‘too sleepy.’

She gave the greenlight to Alexander because ‘there’s not a lot of movies that you can sit and watch with your kids, you can sit and watch with your mom,’ she said.

‘I love being in these movies because Santi can watch it with me,’ she explained referring to her six-year-old son whom she shares with husband José Bastón.

‘It’s so funny,’ she said of the comedy, adding, ‘it happens to have a Latino family, which makes me happy.’

The Land of Women star and producer joked about being a ‘progressive trad wife’ when asked about her plans to buy a ranch.

‘I’ve been making my own ʙuттer, my own bread and my own mayonnaise and my own coffee creamer… I need chickens and goats and cows so I can… make my stuff,’ she explained.
