Tiger King star Joe Exotic has made President Donald Trump a sensational new offer as he attempts to secure a pardon from the White House.
Exotic, 62, is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence after being convicted in 2019 of hiring hitmen to kill his zookeeper rival Carole Baskin.
During his first term, Trump, 78, told a reporter that he would ‘take a look’ at the tiger trader’s case, but nothing ever came of it.
He instead went on to pardon and commute the sentences of 143 people, including rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.
Nevertheless, Exotic publicly endorsed Trump in the 2024 election and is still trying to attract the president’s attention to his case.
Now Exotic, who announced his engagement to his fellow inmate Jorge Marquez in October, has put forward a startling new proposal in exchange for his release.

In a new post on Exotic’s X account, the tiger keeper is pictured with Marquez, whom he is now referring to as his ‘husband.’
‘You could deport him at some point, but if you let me go, we’ll both go to Mexico, which will save you the cost of deporting him and allow you to take care of me,’ Exotic argued. ‘No matter what happens, he’s my husband, and we’ll never abandon each other. This bond is that strong.’
He previously married one Dillon Pᴀssage in 2017, but they announced their separation in 2021 while Exotic was behind bars.

This January, a few days after Trump’s inauguration, Exotic furiously denounced both the new president and Joe Biden for neglecting to get him out of prison.
The tiger keeper, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado, claimed he would have a better chance of a commuted sentence if he ‘broke in the [Capitol]’ or was ‘related to the Bidens,’ in a post on Instagram.
‘If I was a crack dealer, maybe if I broke in the capital or even have been related to the Bidens. I might have gotten some relief on being in prison innocent,’ fumed Exotic.
‘Hell the guy who killed 2 FBI Agents even got a pardon today. I can’t even get a new trial based on admitted perjury testimony.’
After failing to secure a pardon during Trump’s first term, Exotic sought clemency from President Biden, but his efforts there were similarly unsuccessful.

He watched in dismay as Trump used his first days back in the White House this January to pardon around 1,500 January 6 rioters.
The 47th President also used his new power to pardon two members of the Proud Boys and the founder of the Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht.
He also commuted the sentences of five other members of the far-right group as well as nine members of the Oath Keepers militia.
In a barrage of follow-up posts, the convict further pleaded with his followers – all 369,000 of them – to help him reach Trump by tagging him on social media.
‘President Trump what is going on? Pardon Joe Exotic!’ he added in another post.
Carole Baskin (pictured) had a long-running feud with Joe Exotic and has since taken over control of his zoo following his conviction
‘Justice for Joe! No one should spend 21 years in prison for bad haircuts and worse friends. #freejoeexoctic” one user wrote on Instagram.
‘I hope he takes a look at your case carefully and makes the right decision! Hang тιԍнт Joe!! He is still working!!’ another commented.
Another chimed in: ‘I’m not a big fan of the way pardons are being thrown around like candy. But, since they are, might as well throw one your way!’
‘That’s it Joe, keep the faith! Don’t say anything that you will regret. Trump is a fair and just man. He is very busy right now so just be patient.
‘We won’t stop fighting for you!’ another wrote.
