Paula Abdul cut a stylish figure as she attended the Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs basketball game at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on Monday.

The American singer, 62, donned a chic burgundy leather jacket as she sat in the stands waiting for the game to begin. 

Paula teamed a black turtleneck with her jacket and looked in great spirits as she waved towards the camera. 

To complete her look, the Straight Up hitmaker looked youthful as she styled her brunette tresses in a voluminous blowout and wore a radiant palette of makeup. 

It was a tense game as Luka Dončić led the Lakers to a blowout win over Spurs with a near-triple-double. 

The basketball team picked up the 125-109 victory in the contest, which was rescheduled from early January after it was postponed due to the mᴀssive wildfires that broke out across Southern California earlier this year.

Other stars in attendance included Adele’s fiancé Rich Paul, former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his girlfriend Gallienne Nabila. 

Meanwhile, rapper Bad Bunny, actor Daniel Kaluuya, Denzel Washington’s son Malcolm, Judd Apatow, and Dyan Cannon also attended.

The basketball game comes three months after Paula settled a Sєxual harᴀssment lawsuit against fellow reality show judge Nigel Lythgoe ‘for millions’. 

Nigel, 75, who found fame as ‘Nasty Nigel’ judging ITV talent programme Popstars and later produced Pop Idol and its US spin-off American Idol, denied Paula’s claims that he forcibly grabbed her in a lift and kissed her. 

Paula, who worked with Nigel on American Idol and alongside him as a fellow judge on So You Think You Can Dance, alleged he also ᴀssaulted her on the couch of his Los Angeles home after a work dinner. 

Cheshire-born Nigel described the allegations as ‘an appalling smear’.

Grammy-award-winning Paula said: ‘I am grateful that this chapter has successfully come to a close and is now something I can put behind me.’

The allegations date from 2000, but Paula said she kept silent until filing her claim in California last year ‘due to fear of speaking out against one of the most well-known producers of television compeтιтion shows’, court documents said.

She alleged the first Sєxual ᴀssault occurred while she and Nigel were filming auditions for American Idol, which launched in 2002.

Paula claimed Nigel groped her in the elevator of their H๏τel after a day of filming and ‘began shoving his tongue down her throat’.

Her lawyers filed a ‘notice of settlement’ in Los Angeles Superior Court on December 14, 2024.

A source close to Nigel told the MoS the settlement was ‘in the millions’, but neither side would comment on its terms.
