Sam Thompson admitted he isn’t even thinking about dating again, just hours before it was revealed his ex Zara McDermott has officially moved on with Louis Tomlinson.
Zara and the One Direction star were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner together at a H๏τel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk following romance rumours surrounding the pair.
Yet as Zara, 28, moves on with the singer following her break up from Sam in December, the former Made In Chelsea star, 32, revealed he is not in the same head space and isn’t seeking ‘validation’ to ‘fill that hole’ in his his life.
Speaking with friend and Celebs Go Dating coach Paul Brunson on the latest episode of his podcast Staying Relevant, Paul asked Sam ‘What are you doing Sam to self-love?’
Getting candid Sam confessed he isn’t even thinking about dating again as he appeared to take a cryptic dig at the speed Zara has moved on.
He replied: ‘Not much to be honest with you. I suppose a lot of people look for validation in other people right? And they look for the next person instantly because it’s like “I need to find someone else to fill that hole and I need to find that excitement.”

‘You know when you get that excited feeling when you are talking to someone new and fresh. I can’t do that.’
Sam then explained he wants to focus on prioritising his family and admitted he barely ever goes out.
Paul asked: ‘What are your values outside of creativity?’ as Sam replied: ‘I mean I love home, I am a real home body. I love my cats and being around my family and being in my home, I barely ever go out.’
Paul added: ‘Spend time with your family, spend time creating. Tap into some of the things you loved as a boy. Tap into those and spend time doing those and that is going to increase the self esteem and self worth which is what you need right now.’
Sam and Zara have also deleted their joint Instagram account which was dedicated to their home renovations.
The last post was previously December 23 which announced a bedroom reveal was coming soon. Zara ran the account.
Meanwhile Sam also shared an update on his dating life over on Instagram as he shared a clip of what ‘he has been doing since the break up’ from Zara.

Behind a caption penning, ‘I wonder what he has been up to since the break?’, Sam can be seen bouncing up and down while playing a fun dance tune mixed with a Harry Potter rap.
In the clip, Sam’s sister, Louise can be seen dressed up in the other houses alongside her partner and child, Leo.
Alongside the post, he penned: ‘DJ Hufflepuff at your service’, to which Louise responded: ‘We’re so lucky. I’m most pleased that you left the wretched wand and hufflepuff scarf behind and now Leo wants to leave the house with them every waking second of the day.’
MailOnline revealed Sam and Zara split in December after five years together, with the Strictly star revealing shortly after that she had moved out of their Chelsea home.
In January, she shared a TikTok documenting her day filming for Morning Live, where she confirmed she was living somewhere new, with clips of her in bed and glimpses of her room while getting ready.
And now Zara has moved on with Louis after fans speculated the pair were dating.
The One Direction star, 33, is said to have planned the date, which saw him take Zara to a H๏τel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.

The pair looked besotted as they giggled and held hands while enjoying fish and chips and cocktails – before apparently spending the night at the H๏τel.
The publication reported that the pair have been on a number of low key dates over the past few weeks and have been speaking for a while.
A source told the publication: ‘Louis whisked Zara away for a break in Suffolk and he absolutely charmed her, it’s clear he thinks she’s drop-ᴅᴇᴀᴅ gorgeous too.
‘Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special.’
The source added that the pair are taking things slow and a similarity they share is how close they are with their families.
A guest at the restaurant said they saw the pair looking relaxed as they touched each others’ hands over the table.

Fans speculated that Zara had moved on with Louis, sharing conspiracy theories that they pair could be secretly dating after noticing that they follow each other on Instagram.
Louis only follows 336 accounts on the social media platform with Zara being one of them.
Reddit users also claim that Louis’s sisters, including make-up artists Lottie Tomlinson, and twins Daisy and Phoebe, follow Zara too.
