A Love Island legend has taken to social media to reveal that he has ‘unexpectedly’ become a father for the first time.
Idris Virgo, 31, who sH๏τ to fame on the 2018 edition of the reality TV show, shared a sweet picture of his new addition reaching up to grab his finger.
Further footage of the tot was posted to his Instagram story alongside the song Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley.
The boxer-turned-TV star wrote: ‘Life has a way of throwing curveballs, and this has been the most unexpected and incredible one yet.
‘I’m now a father. I didn’t see this chapter coming, but when life calls, you answer.
‘A man’s duty is to show up, protect, and provide – and that’s exactly what I intend to do. I’ve been blessed with a beautiful son.’

Friends and fans were quick to offer their congratulations to the reality star who failed to find love in the villa and was dumped after just a few days.

It is not known who the child’s mother is.
While Idris did recently admit to considering a return to Love Island All Stars as a bombshell this year, he wanted to put his boxing career first.

His next upcoming big fight is with none other than Tyson Fury’s former sparring partner, Ty Mitchell, on April 12.
He told The Sun: ‘I could have taken the chance to risk going on the show and come out for this fight.
‘But it’s too much, so I thought I’d kick it to the can. Oh, it is 100 per cent a tough decision because Love Island’s my root, that’s the reason why I’m standing here today.
‘I got what I have because of Love Island, so it would have been good to go back on there, build my career, X, Y, Z, but sometimes you gotta take sacrifices and that’s one of my sacrifices.
‘I had to kick the can and train hard ready for this fight.’
