Salma Hayek has revealed that she works out just four times a year as she showcased her flexibility in a new interview.
The Mexican American actress, 58, is no stranger to showcasing her incredible, age-defying figure whether that be on a red carpet or in a ʙικιɴι-clad Instagram snap.
However while some may think that the star may have to hit the gym hard in order to maintain her physique, Salma insists that it isn’t the case and in fact would rather avoid exercises such as running.
Speaking to Marie Claire, in which she wowed in a lace bodysuit for a sizzling pH๏τoshoot, Salma opened up about her minimal fitness routine and her natural suppleness, stating she’s ‘very flexible’ and still does all of her own stunts.
Salma continued: ‘Four times a year, I put music on and walk on my own treadmill. Don’t ask me to run; my boobs are not made for that.’
She added that she was content with her curves and doesn’t desire anybody else’s body or even a new body.

However, despite looking and feeling amazing, the Without Blood star admitted that she still yearns for the body she had when she was 25.
She said: ‘I do confess, I want the old body; the one I had at 25 and criticized and hated nonstop. Oh, please, Lord Jesus, give it back to me. I apologize.’
Meanwhile in the interview, Salma told how she’s no longer feels defined for being ‘Sєxy’ and has found as she’s grown older, she’s been able to expand her horizons and take on roles that are not just based on her appearance.
‘There was a time when I was the Sєxy girl, but thank God age came and gave me the ability to expand to other territories. Although I’m still Sєxy and I embrace it.’
She added that she likes to remind people that women are not ‘disposable’ after a certain age ‘in any department’, adding that women should ‘battle that’ with ‘all we’ve got’.
Hayek began her entertainment career in 1989 and started making minor acting appearances before her breakout role in 1995 portraying Carolina in Desperado.
She went on to star in one of her most iconic roles as Frida Kahlo in the тιтular biopic Frida in 2002.
