Vanessa Feltz is set to leave This Morning after 33 years on the show.
The veteran broadcaster, 63, has been a regular contributor to the ITV programme but will be stepping away because of her commitment to her new 5 show Vanessa.
The upcoming series will launch on March 24 at 12.45pm and promises to cover a wide range of topics including celebrities, gossip, fashion, relationships and parenting.
She told the Daily Star: ‘When I told everyone I wouldn’t be able to do the show anymore, they were lovely about it. I heard from Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby immediately and the bosses were charming. I’ll miss working with them all.’
Vanessa added that she had learned a great amount from the stars she had worked with in her three decades on the popular morning show.
‘I have learned lots of stuff on This Morning,’ she said. ‘When I first did it, I had never been on TV before. I didn’t know what was going on. I was bamboozled but they gave me a contract.’

The TV personality hosted an eponymous ITV show between 1994 and 1998, boosting her to stardom, and the upcoming series on 5 is a callback to the old Vanessa.
Earlier this month, she explained: ‘I cannot wait to get started on this sparkling adventure with Channel 5.
‘This show is all about YOU – your stories, your opinions, your emotions, and your triumphs. Television’s never been so real, honest, or unpredictable…kick off your shoes and come and join me for lunch, relax with a bit of me time and let’s have a ball.’
The mother-of-two has been a prominent figure in British broadcasting for more than three decades.
She first gained national recognition in the 1990s with The Vanessa Show on ITV, which ran from 1994 to 1998, before moving to the BBC, where she presented a range of radio and television programmes, including on BBC One and Radio 2.
In 2022, she left the BBC after nearly 20 years, citing a desire to embrace new challenges and opportunities. She then joined TalkTV, where she hosted her own show for two years.
A year later, Vanessa left her role as a presenter on the station as the news channel underwent a major upheaval.
And in November the broadcaster replaced former Countdown star Carol Vorderman, 63, on her Sunday slot on LBC.

Last month, the broadcaster was praised by This Morning fans for undergoing a mammogram live on the ITV show.
The star had the procedure performed to show viewers that it was nothing to worry about and tackle stigma as part of NHS’s first ever breast screening campaign.
Vanessa spoke to two women who had previously undergone a mammogram, in moves which they credited with saving their lives as they were later diagnosed with breast cancer.
The journalist then went on to have one herself and spoke to viewers watching at home as she had it done, reᴀssuring them as the nurse went about the check.
The move is the latest switch-up in Vanessa’s long career and sees her venture to yet another station for a fresh start.
And the star showed she was moving on quickly by flaunting her dramatic weight loss on Thursday during the opening night of Clueless: The Musical at the Trafalgar Theatre.
The star wore a shiny silver midi dress which hugged her figure and featured long sleeves, pairing the show-stopping item with sparkly gold boots with pointed toes.

Last year, Vanessa candidly lifted the lid on the difficulties of her childhood and how she was put on a diet as young as nine years old.
During an appearance on Loose Women she delved into her younger years and explained how they led to her yo-yo dieting, to promote her new book Vanessa Bares All.
The presenter admitted her problems with weight began at the young age when she was put on a very strict diet, and recalled being given just half a grapefruit for dinner.
Elaborating on that time, Vanessa told the panel made up of Charlene White, Brenda Edwards, Judi Love, and Kelle Bryan, ‘I was a little girl and I wasn’t one of those chubby little girls that likes eating cake, I was the skinny kind that’s not very interested in food.
‘Then I did this thing which my parents never really forgave me for, which is called developing. You start to get very tiny ʙosoмs, I was about nine, my mum rushed me off to the specialist to ask, “What’s going on with her?”
‘They said, “Well Mrs. Feltz she’s developing”, and my grandma said, “That’s ridiculous, she’s only nine,” almost as if I’ done it on purpose, which of course I hadn’t.’
‘They wanted me to be very marriageable and marriageable meant thin. But I was quite thin, and from that moment she sort of started dieting me.’

Recalling one specific moment from her childhood, Vanessa told of how she would be given different meals to the rest of her family.
The broadcaster recalled: ‘So we’re all having the chicken soup with vermicelli an with lovely dumplings and everything. Vanessa’s having half a grapefruit – and I was nine.
‘I felt as if I was being punished but I didn’t know what I’d done, and I wasn’t big, I was little. Pretty much from that moment my mother became effectively my sort of diet police.
‘It makes food a whole big thing. I really don’t think my mum did it on purpose but the net effect has been a very public weight problem.’
