George Clooney and his wife Amal will be hosting a lavish fundraiser in Italy’s Lake Como this August.

The Michael Clayton star, 63 — who recently showed off his freshly dyed hair — and the British-Lebanese lawyer, 47, are set to overlook a five-day event for their Clooney Foundation for Justice.

They will be hosting 16 guests, with participation fees starting at $173,000 per room and a required minimum $60,000 donation per person to the foundation, as per Variety.

Guests will enjoy double occupancy rooms at the Pᴀssalacqua H๏τel, an 18th century villa overlooking the lake. The land was once owned by Pope Innocent XI.

The event, organized by Satopia Group, will host philanthropic guests who are also interested in exploring ‘the most incredible aspects of Lake Como’, according to CEO Emma Ponsonby.

The minimum donation is set to ensure ‘immediate impact from each participant’s contribution’, according to the promotional material, with the goal of raising more than $1 million.

Guests will be able to enjoy an exclusive ‘garden party’ with the Hollywood silver fox and his wife on day three of the event.

However, the garden party will not be hosted at Clooney’s own Villa Oleandra, the house he has owned for 23 years, which boasts 25 rooms and a tennis court.

Other highlights of the five day, four night extravaganza include private dinners with the Clooney Foundation for Justice Team, dinners prepared by world-class chefs, scenic boat journeys, opportunities for long-term collaboration with the Foundation, as well as engaging discussions on philanthropy and justice.

One dinner will be held at the historic Villa del Balbianello, where Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Casino Royale have both filmed.

Guests will also be treated to ‘an enchanting evening at Teatro Sociale di Como.’

There will also be live music and performances ‘woven throughout the experience, celebrating storytelling, music and artistic expression in the pursuit of justice.’

There are still slots available for interested guests.

Ponsonby explained that those that have already signed up ‘have an interest or are active in their own philanthropic foundations.’

‘They have their own objectives that they’re trying to work on and they want to collaborate with the Clooney Foundation.’

She added that the event will also be about ‘experiencing Como through the eyes of George and Amal and understanding just why they love this destination.’

She characterized the Lake Como fundraiser as ‘a much more proactive event’ than the Clooney Foundation’s annual Albie Awards in New York, which honor justice advocates.

Founded in 2016, the Clooney Foundation for Justice operates in 40 countries.

In 2022, the Foundation reported nearly $10 million in donations and grants, and spent nearly $4 million on its programs, according to IRS filings.

In addition to their Italian villa, the Clooneys purchased a home in the South of France in 2021.

It comes with 425 acres, including an olive grove, vineyard, tennis court and boules pitch.

The 18th-century French home sits in a swathe of countryside between Marseilles and Cannes, in an area known as ‘Green Provence’.

The home offers more space for the couple’s 7-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.

A local source previously explained: ‘Como is too small for Alexander and Ella. It doesn’t have enough space for them to pursue proper hobbies like horse-riding, whereas they can do anything they want in France.’

Though he will be in Italy this August, George is currently busy working in New York City.

He was pictured stepping out and showing off his new dyed hair on Tuesday, following a preview of his Broadway show, Good Night and Good Luck, after recently admitting his fears over wife Amal ‘hating’ his new look.

His outing comes after he shared his concerns over Amal and their kids hating his new hair last month – as he raised eyebrows with the new look while in NYC this weekend.

‘My wife is going to hate it because nothing makes you look older than when an older guy dyes his hair,’ George said during an interview with The New York Times in February.

‘My kids are going to just laugh at me nonstop.’

The Academy Award-winner and the British-Lebanese lawyer have been married since 2014.

In the show he will portray CBS newsman Edward R. Murrow and has had to cover up his usual handsome salt-and-pepper hair with a dark brown dye.

In the new play, the actor and filmmaker will be starring as the legendary journalist Edward.

In his 2005 film, David Strathairn had played the lead role, while Clooney took a supporting role as CBS President Fred Friendly, in addition to working behind the camera.
