Coleen Rooney cut a trendy figure on Wednesday as she was spotted in Cheshire for the first time since landing £10 million with Disney+ for a fly-on-the-wall family reality show. 

The wife of footballer Wayne Rooney, 38, sported a stylish black jacket and matching leggings as she headed to Caffè Nero for a quick coffee break while running errands. 

For the outing, Coleen layered a plain black T-shirt underneath her jacket and sported a pair of chunky white trainers. 

To complete her look, she further accessorised with a pair of black oversized shades and sported an Apple Watch. 

The mother-of-four styled her brunette tresses in a low bun as she carried her belongings to her 61-plate Overfinch Range Rover Sport, which cost her a cool £114,829. 

Her outing comes shortly after The Mail on Sunday revealed that she is set to star in a £10 million fly-on-the-wall reality show on the streaming giant Disney+ following their bidding war triumph against Amazon.

After months of back and forth between the rival broadcasters, Disney+ won the race with the mᴀssive fee, and cameras will go inside the Rooneys’ £20 million super-mansion in Cheshire.

The ‘at-home-with’ format is expected to see former England footballer Wayne, 39, appear alongside his wife Coleen and their four sons: Kai, 14, Kit, 11, Klay, eight, and Cᴀss, six. 

Sources close to the project say that Coleen will be paid £5 million, with the remainder going to production company Lorton Entertainment, which made her previous show, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story. 

One insider said: ‘It has taken months of bidding against one another. The money has gone up and up and has got to £10 million, which is way higher than was first imagined, but Coleen is very much in demand.’

‘Both streamers were aware of the viewing public’s appeтιтe for the inside track on footballers’ home lives.’ 

‘The Beckhams documentary was the most-watched show on Netflix in the UK last year and has racked up more than 200 million hours of viewing time globally.’

‘Coleen is loved by the British public, especially since she played a blinder on I’m A Celeb. It wasn’t surprising that Disney and Amazon wanted it and went head to head.’

‘It will make for compulsive viewing. It won’t just feature Coleen but Wayne and their children, too.’

‘It might be expensive, but the view is that it will be worth every penny.’

Coleen’s success stands in stark contrast to a similar project involving her arch-foe, fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy, 43.

Coleen defeated Rebekah, wife of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy, 38, in her ‘Wagatha Christie’ libel trial in 2022, leaving her with a £3 million legal bill.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Rebekah has been quietly filming a pilot for a reality show with Freeview channel, W. 

However, industry sources say TV executives ‘were not exactly enthralled’ by the results. 

One source said: ‘Rebekah saw an opportunity to get herself on the television with a reality-type show, so it was decided she would try it out with a pilot.’

‘She hasn’t been told no yet, but it didn’t go down well. So there isn’t a great deal of optimism.’

There is some poetic justice after the aggravation Rebekah caused Coleen with the Wagatha Christie fallout.

‘Once again, Coleen has come out on top.’
