This nepo baby actor has followed in the footsteps of his famous family and made a name for himself on the big screen in recent years.

He has big shoes to fill as he is both the son of film director parents and the nephew of acclaimed actors.

The 27-year-old star got his big break in 2019 as he took on the starring role as Hardin Scott in the After film franchise, acting alongside Josephine Langford.

But before this, he was best known for playing a young Tom Riddle (aka Lord Voldemort) in Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince, following the lead of his very famous uncle. 

He has also dabbled in the world of fashion and previously walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week. 

While his uncle was nominated for an Oscar at this year’s star-studded ceremony, this young actor was busy walking the red carpet at the Picture This World Premiere in London, a film he is set to star in alongside Simone Ashley.

That’s right, it’s none other than Hero Fiennes-Tiffin – the son of film directors George Tiffin and Martha Fiennes, and the nephew of actors Ralph and Joseph Fiennes.

Hero attended the glitzy premiere for his upcoming rom-com movie on Monday and posed with his co-star, Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley.

The film is premiering on Amazon Prime on March 6 and sees the duo play exes.

In 2019, he opened up on his famous family connections and insisted while he grateful for the opportunities that come with his notable name, he won’t be cashing in or exploiting his relatives to win roles. 

Speaking to ES Magazine, the actor told how he is determined to make his own luck in the film industry and insisted he would rather get his work noticed without the help of his family. 

‘I’ve been lucky to have the family and the opportunities that I’ve had, so I’m conscious of trying to get some work done without the help.

‘[His connections do help him] a lot. I’m not about to say that’s not the case. I’m very grateful. I just hope I can bring to the table what is expected.’

In spite of his family connections, Hero admitted entering into the acting industry ‘didn’t really cross my mind’.

He added: ‘It’s definitely more of a gradual love for it that formed, rather than I suddenly woke up one day and thought, “This is what I want to do”.’

Hero has won a legion of fans thanks to his role of college badboy Hardin Scott in the Netflix flick, alongside Josephine Langford, who plays his love-interest Tessa Young.

In the film, the pair enter into a steamy toxic relationship, which sees Tessa question what she wants out of life.

In an interview with The Gentleman’s Journal in the same year, the actor expanded on his famous connections.

He said: ‘We definitely express our creativity as a family. Though actually I don’t talk to them too much about acting, because they’re quite busy and spread out.

‘When I do see them, what’s more interesting is speaking about family, their kids, my little cousins who I have’t seen in ages.

When asked if he’s capitalised on his famous name, Hero replied: ‘Well it gets me to the table and then when I’m there I have big shoes to fill. 

‘But, really nothing but good comes from it. I’m very lucky to be in that position.’ 

His uncle Ralph was recently nominated for an Oscar in the Leading Actor category for his movie Conclave.

The film stars Ralph, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Sergio Castellitto, and Isabella Rossellini and follows Cardinal Thomas Lawrence (Fiennes) as he organises a conclave to elect the next pope.

Meanwhile, his father George is best known or his work on Soup (1996), Secret Hunter and MI-5 (2002). 

And his mother is recognised for directing the likes ofChromophobia (2005) and Onegin (1999).
